I can't help myself when it comes to Avon, I order something more or less every time the catalogue comes through the door and if I don't I make sure that I make up fr it the next and probably spend three times as much.

I like to try new products and more often than less when you order them the first time they appear in the catalogue, they give you quite a decent introductory offer of normally around half price which is great if you want to try them and not necessarily go back for the repeat purchase.

The Avon Spectralash Mascara had quite a large advertising campaign behind it, including a national television campaign featuring Resse Witherspoon, which definitely sells the product, especially if there is a godd concept behind it and the initial concept of the Spectralash mascara is great and if works, and people like it, it is going to save people quite a lot of money rather than buying different mascara's for different occasions.

The SpectraLash mascara retails at £10, and with an introductory offer of £5, it is a muct have in a girls hand bags. The product itself comes in quite a thick tube, with a purple adaptor at the bottom, whch you can turn for three different settings, which releases a diffeent amount of the mascara to the actual brush to give you the results that you want to achieve. On setting one, it provides you with the every day normal mascara, which is not too over the top, setting two provide you with the evening look, full eyelashes that can make every mans head turn when he see's them lashes and setting three supposed to give you the fullest of eyelashes for that complete night out.

NOw, being a girl that loves my cosmetics anyway, I never opt for the day option, I have got very long eyelashes to start with and the longer they look the better, however I have found that when you use settings two and thre they don't actually look muh different, however using the first setting you can definitely tell that it more of a daytime look.

I love this product, however I do feel that there are better products on the market and in particular the Avon Astonishing lengths mascara seems to suit me a lot better, however this one will still always ave a presence in my make up bag, may be not the main one though.

I always thought it might be too good to be true and it sound like it is. I think I will stick to another mascara.
