As mentioned before my sister has recently become an Avon rep so in support of her business I bought a few products from an Avon campaign brochure including this eyeliner which at the time I think cost about £5.

It comes in a small black cardboard box which I swiftly disposed of, and inside the eyeliner is in a small clear glass pot, with a black screw top lid which boldly says Avon Supershock in silver writing. I bought mine in a bronzey goldish colour which the bottom of the pot says the colour is "flashy brown". The eyeliner itself is quite a shimmery brown/bronze and is of a creamy gel type texture.

To apply it I also have the Avon eyeliner brush which is a small long black brush with a fine tip which can easily be immersed in this tiny pot to gather the eyeliner with little dabs for application on my eyes. I am no make up artist (trust me!) but I find this eyeliner, when used with the compatible brush easy to use and gives an amazing shimmery desired effect! The eyeliner sits well on my eyes, giving a noticeable coverage and look without having to apply loads and loads. It doesn't smudge easily and has a long lasting effect as I have worn it on a night out a couple times and it has seen me right through! I also got a few cheeky compliments at how "sensuous" my eyes looked (why thank you!).

Removing it is easy, using my Estee lauder eye make up remover, one quick wipe with a cotton wool pad and it is easily off and I don't have to vigorously rub my eyes leaving a mass of messy eyeliner everywhere! As someone who likes the basics of makeup I love this eyeliner and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a nice shimmery eyeliner product of good quality and which is easy to use!
