I've recently become an Avon rep so treated myself to a few of their products during my first order. One of these was Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad. RRP for this is £8 but as with all Avon products they can often be found on offer. I have not seen this product in the more recent catalogues but instead a slightly more modern product so I am assuming it has had a face lift.

This product came in 5 different colour shade varieties including pinks, blues and browns. I'm sure I ordered the Sandy Beaches variety however when my order came I had the turquoise one. The colours inside looked nice so I decided to keep it.

As you can see from the picture above you get four eyeshadow powders in a compact with a double ended applicator. There is a mirror on the inside of the lid of the applicator, helping with ease of use. The 4 colours in mine consist of turquoise (I would say this is more of a bright baby blue), dark blue, peach (almost skin tone) and brown (this is more of a subtle glitter tone).

Applying the powder is really easy, you just wipe the applicator over the powder a few times and this will provide you with plenty to cover the eyelid. The applicator is shaped well so it is easy to apply to the eyelid and I rarely end up with eyeshadow where it shouldn't be. The powder once applied is thick and provides really good, even coverage. It does not rub off and stays put well meaning that when you open your eyes fully you will not end up with patches above the eyelid!

The eyeshadow will stay in place all day and does not rub off even if you rub your eyes throughout the day. It keeps its hold well and does not start to look a little tired until much later on through the day. Removal of the product is easy, I have found pretty much any make up remover to work on it well, one wipe and its off.

I recommend this product (or the new facelift version) to anyone as it is a quick and easy eyeshadow to use. It provides great value for money and fantastic coverage. I like it so much I've just ordered myself 2 more.
