Advantages: Looks brill on; makes my lips nice and soft; A nice range of colours
Disadvantages: The lipstick feels a bit greasy
I brought this Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick when it first came out because it was on special offer and I was curious to see what the mousse core would be able to do for my lips.
I picked the Mango Sorbet colour because in the book it looked a nice peach colour but its more pinky than anything but it still looks proper nice on.
The outside of the lipstick is normal lipstick and it goes on smooth over my lips. The colour is quite strong when it first goes on because I was expecting a more sheer colour but when I have blotted it it comes out just right.
The mousse inside is proper soft and it helps the lipstick to be so smooth. It works like a lip balm and it does make my lips feel nice and soft even though I stopped using my other lip balm so I could try this out properly and see if it worked.
It does work good and my lips feel moisturized whenever I wear this lipstick but the mousse does mean that the lipstick never feels proper dry so if you don't like that bit of a slippery feeling that greasy lipsticks give you then you probably won't like this.
My mum has got the Plum Frost one and that looks wicked on her but my skin is a lot paler and she has got olive tones so the darker purple colour suits her but its loads too strong a shade for me. There are brown shades as well and they look nice so I'll probably order one of them next time we get a book. The lipstick costs £7.00 but I only paid £5.00 for my one so if it's not on offer this time then you should wait for the next book because their make up is cheaper a lot of the time and you can save loads when they have the multi buy deals.
