... satiny, it gives you a glow without making it too noticeable. The mineral blush has a hint of shimmer but I don't find that worries me at all, in the sunlight it just adds to the effect. The light powder just needs to touch your skin and it adds just a hint of the palest pink. I have tried using bronzing pearls and powders but I always find that they look too hard. The Bare Escentuals blusher is capable of giving you a fairly natural look and I feel that is because it only touches the skin lightly and deposits tiny amoun...more

Premium Review Bare Escentuals Blush: Make-up so gentle, you can sleep in it! (474 words)

Mineral make-up has recently becomepopular due to it's gentleness on the skin, it doesn't clog up pores as much and lets skin breathe. Bare Minerals specialises in mineral make-up and launched their first foundation in 1976, so it has been around a while. Bare Minerals mineal products contains 100% pure crushed minerals and i free from preservatives, this is great because other brands such as Maybelinne and L'Oreal also do mineral make-up but it's not 100% mineral, more like 75-90%. So, already Bare Minerals has the advatage over other brands. This blush, like all Bare Minerals products, is ideal for people with oily skin as it get rids of all the shine. Premium Review My first Bare Escentuals disappointment (696 words)

The sure sign of a great beauty product is when you start to notice copycats springing up all over the place. I'd seen it with the Stila lip glaze and the Benetint cheek stain, so when I started to notice all sorts of mineral makeup items popping up I knew there must be a great product out there I'd not discovered yet! Having tried the Maybelline mineral foundation and not been particularly impressed I wanted to try the 'original' range out for myself and I invested in a Bare Minerals starter set which included a foundation, the mineral veil, and the Mineral Blush in Hint. Bare Minerals launched their first foundation in 1976, so mineral makeup products aren't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bare Escentuals Blush: I love this blusher! (1291 words)

If you haven't discovered this brand you have been missing out! Bare Escentuals is my favourite brand of make up, and cannot imagine life now without it. Bare Escentuals uses 100% pure, finely crushed minerals and is so pure, you can even sleep with it on. They do a range of products from foundation, eye make up, lips and blushes. They also do a wide range of bruses and tools for those make up perfectionists out there. Almost all my make up is is Bare Escentuals after discovering the brand 2 years ago through their foundation. They use minerals which mean that certain skin types can cope with it. For example I have severe acne and this has been my god send. It ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review You Have Made Me Blush ! (655 words)

I wouldn't like to think how many blushers there are on the market at any one time, you can pay a small fortune for a good one or you can pay a small amount of money and get one that does an adequate job. I usually try to strike the happy medium, although I have quite a few pots of blusher I know that if I am careful and choose the right colour that the pot will be with me for many months to come. I paid just under £13 for the small pot of Bare Escentuals Blush, the shade I chose was called `Lovely`. I have pale skin, I need to wear foundation cream and then my already pale skin often looks paler than ever, if I went without any blusher then I would look ...  Read the complete review
