I had used bare escentuals products before but never quite managed to get the right shade as I was always borrowing my friends medium beige (whereas I'm a fairly light), so when I finally got myself colour matched to my right foundation shade I was overjoyed, I haven't looked back since, no other foundation is as amazing as this one.

The actual powder itself looks as though it won't give any coverage, I was completely skeptical after years of plastering my skin with liquid and cream foundations and found myself thinking "how on earth is this going to cover up any unsightly blemishes or red patches?", but after I gave it a try and swirl tapped and buffed myself to perfection I was completely smitten.

This foundation is magic, pure magic. It has an SPF, contains 100% pure natural minerals and has the added bonus of containing Zinc, which helps to calm down any spots or outbreaks you may suffer from. You can also sleep in it, which is always a plus as I'm terrible at taking my makeup off before I go to bed!.

It's amazing to see how much coverage this product gives, without feeling like a mask... it literally feels as though you're not wearing any makeup, it allows your skin to breathe and just gives you that beautiful even skin tone you've always dreamed about. All red patches and unsightly blemishes are completely concealed and your skin looks dreamy.

Every woman should use this product, it really does do wonders for your skin!, you simply tap a little bit of the product into the lid and then swirl the brush (quite vigourously) in the minerals, until they're all picked up in the brush. Then you tap the excess minerals off the brush and start to buff them into your skin, the more you buff the better the coverage, there's literally no wastage of product, so it's definitely economical.

I can almost guarentee that once you try the Bareminerals foundation you will never look back!!
