I am in love with this product from Bare Minerals, it's a must have if you've had a long night and have tired looking eyes because it completely freshens them up and does make you look "well rested!" I've had nights when I know I've got work at 7am the next day but I've thought ah stuff it and just gone out and enjoyed myself. Rolling in in the early hours then waking up a after just a few hours sleep to shower, stick my makeup on and get out the door to work. When you've had a rough night it's the eyes that show it and I've found this makes them look fresh and bright despite how I may be feeling inside lol.
It comes in a a very small .85g pot with the usual screw top lid. It is a very small amount but you do need very little so it does last. Bare Minerals say when you're short on beauty sleep, it shows. Except when you use our Well-Rested. This eye-brightening shadow base is beloved for its magical ability to diminish the appearance of morning drowsiness. Sweep it on to counter dark shadows around the eyes or even the nose and lips."
Colour selection is easy because it only come in one colour designed to suit everyone. No faffing about trying to figure out which colour is right for you with this. Application is the same as with all bare minerals products, you simply sake a very small amount into the lid swirl your brush into it, tap off your brush against the lid to remove any excess them apply. Now I always use my concealer brush from Bare Minerals to apply this and use a patting motion to blend it onto my skin. I go through my normal makeup routine, primer, foundation, concealer, powder to set. I use the normal Bare Minerals concealer under my eyes because well rested is very brightening and I don't want that all under my eyes it would just be too much. I then use Well-Rested on the inner corners of my eyes, right in the corners and just blend it out slightly so it's coming out a tiny bit under the eye. It has a slight sheen to it and looks almost white but natural. You can definitely see it's there but it looks like it's supposed to be there if you know what I mean. Placing it on the inner corners of the eye like that makes the whites of my eyes look whiter, my eyes look fresh and bright and I look awake. It's just on the inside part of your eyes that you get that darkness if you haven't slept properly and this completely covers that.
It can also be used to cover dark shadows in other areas on your face like the lines coming down from the side of your nose towards your mouth but I just use it for my eyes.
Only a teeny tiny amount of this is ever needed and After application I find it last the day.
Available from www.bareminerals.co.uk for £19. It's expensive but worth it.
