It stays a long time. It claims to be waterproof, I have to be honest I haven't used this in water but judging by the way it stays on normally I can say that it probably wouldn't move around too much after being put in water.
I like that this is creamy enough to glide on and and blend out with a brush but it is firm enough to stay put and not slide all over your eyelid.
They are mainly dark, earthy colours but that's what you want for your eyes. They are perfect liner colours as they are dark to line your eyes ( and white to bring them out ). These pencils are also perfect to use on the lid and the white as a base to make other shadows more vibrant.
This is quite a versatile product as you can use it as either a liner or you can blend it out in the crease or all over the eyelid for an eyeshadow/ eyeshadow base.
I apply this straight from the pencil and then depending on where I apply it I either feather it out with a nice fluffy brush or I leave it be.
I'm not too keen on the packaging purely because you have to sharpen it and I find that a bit annoying I feel like they should have made it a twisty one , however, this doesn't put me off buying the product.
A great and versatile product to have in your makeup bag. It can be used as liner or on the lid and has the perfect eye shades.
I was spending my vouchers on Amazon as you do and had a few pounds left to spend and nothing in mind until I saw these Barry M sticks and decided to try one as it got me free postage for the other items in my basket.
What are they?
These are called an eye shadow pencil but for me they are a bit of a hybrid between an eye liner and a powder eye shadow.
I don't put my bronze pencil all over the lid like I would an eye shadow but I use it to draw a line on my upper lid before adding mascara.
This makes a nice change and is flattering on the eye. It is super quick to use and for me helps to skip a few steps of the usual make up routine. It is easy to remove with normal eye make up remover and looks nice used on its own or with other complimentary shades of eye shadow.
I paid £2.99 for my pencil with free postage but it is probably easier to buy them and check out the rest of the colour range in stores where they sell Barry M Products like Boots or Superdrug.
I would not say I turn to this pencil every day as I normally wear black eye liner but it is nice for a change and if I am in a rush it is also good for a quick fix. I like that it has quality and is affordable. I would buy other colours from the range having had success with my bronze eye shadow pencil.
