Advantages: all over sparkle
Disadvantages: easy to overuse
I spotted the barry m collection in my local superdrug last christmas time and with a christmas party coming up i decided to give it a try.
Barry M is a reasonably priced make up range and prides itself on its bright and dare i say it sometimes garish colours, its range includes, lip sticks, lip gloss, eyeliners, eyeshadow and blushers.
What is it -
the glitter dust comes in a little round glass pot, the pot is clear so you can see the product and a black lid.
It is called fine glitter dust and really is a fine ground down glitter and is a dust rather than a powder.
It comes in a range of colours including, black, sliver, gold, blue, green pink and white.
How to use it -
Be carefull how and where you apply it, as its a really fine dust it can tend to go everywhere when you open it, i found that the best way to use it is to either apply it with a slightly damp finger or a slightly damp brush as this way it grab the product better.
it is best to tap the brush against the back of your hand to remove excess as it does go everywhere and you may have glitter where you dont want it!.
If you are applying it as an eyeshadow, place some loose powder underneath your eyes to catch any spills.
I also found that it is effective as an eyeliner if you use a fine damp eyeliner brush.
and for extra sparkle you can dust a little all over your body and i find that using a flat cotton wool pad works well for this.
Does it work -
I find that it gives a good, long lasting colour and if you have the gold or sliver you can also use it all over your body.
I did find that after wearing it i was finding bits of glitter all over the place.
Even though i have used it many times, there is still lots left in the little pot as a little does go a long way.
Where can i get it and how much does it cost -
As i said i purchased mine in superdrug but it can be purschased in many chemists and beauty stores.
It was on offer when i bought it but the last time i looked it was £ 3.00 in superdrug
Summary: Great for a glittering night out
