Advantages: Lovely colours to choose from, gives a nice shimmer

Disadvantages: you do need a primer to make the powder sick

I have recently been converted to Barry M make-up which I had never really tried before thinking it was more for kids.
The last time I was in Boots they were having a 3for2 all make-up so I made sure and stocked up on loads of different products to try.

I ended up grabbing 3 dazzle dust powders because they just had so many fantastic colours to choose from. The colour selection is really good and all the colours in the range are eye catching but there are some more muted colours if you don't want anything too bright and colourful.

The dazzle dusts can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips but I've only used them on my eyes and a couple of times I have used them on cheekbones to give a little shimmer.
The shimmer they give is lovely and when it catches the light you can really notice it but it isn't glittery and too young. If you don't over-do the application it looks sophisticated instead of tacky.

The only problem with the dazzle dust powders is that they are really fine and they can be hard to apply. Because they are so fine they just fall off the brush and the skin so you need to make sure and use some sort of primer first to make the powder stick.
They also go on quite light so to make them have a bit more pop you need to build up the coat you give your eyelids.

The dazzle dust comes in little glass pots which are tiny but they last for ages. They cost £4.50 in boots which is not bad especially when you can buy 3 for the price of 2. I will definitely be buying some more pots as there are still loads of colours I want to try out.

Summary: A lovely shimmery eye shadow
