Advantages: Cheap, beautiful colours, a wide range of colours, easy to apply..

Disadvantages: Needs alot of re-applying, comes in quite a small pot.

I'm not an overly big fan of eye shadows in general, as I'm pretty self conscious about my eyes, so I tend to not do anything to draw attention to them, such as eyeliners, eye shadows etc. But in town today with my best friend, I noticed her beautiful eyes, a really bright green colour with goes so so well with her tanned skin, she said that she had been using Barry M's Glitter Dust on her eyes. So I thought I'd go to Boots and see if they would suit me, and convert me to the eye shadow side.

At Boots on the Barry M's aisle, the first thing I noticed was the amount of Barry M Glitter Dust colours available, there was lots of shades of colours, such as Green, Blue, Pink, Red, Purple, Orange and Yellow, so there was a huge range of shades for each skin colour and hair/eye colour. Which was a great advantage for everyone, as you can choose a colour which suits you, but also choose a colour which you feel comfortable in, eg. A brighter colour for the more daring, or a more calm colour for the less daring among us, like me.
I personally choose a little baby Pink colour, as I think it goes really well with my pale skin, and my favourite colour is pink, and I really loved the colour. The other colours of the Glitter Dust were also really amazing, some were really bright and stunning, others were darker but also really beautiful.

The application of the Glitter Dust was really easy because the powder was so light and soft, as it was easy to apply with a simple make up brush, and didn't need to be applied hard on the eyelids, which some eye shadows seem to need to do, with the little makeup brush/sponge, but Glitter Dust is pretty much applied with very little effort to be honest. Also the eye shadow is easy to take off with make up remover or facial wipes, and are pretty effortless to remove.
After applying the eye shadow, I decided to check the staying power of the eye shadow, and I was slightly disappointed. I felt that the eye shadow did not last very long, and ended up fading after around a hour, so I had to apply fairly often throughout the day to sustain beautiful eyes, which was a huge negative for me.

Personally, I love the baby Pink colour eye shadow, which I brought, and I would use it again, and maybe buy the nice Silver one too. But I wouldn't wear it everyday, and the re-applying is a negative, but I think the positives un-doubly out weigh the negative.

Barry M's Glitter Dust is available at Boots and Superdrug and on Barry M's online website, costing around 4-5 pounds per pot, which seems to last a fair while.

Summary: Worth a try..
