I received one of these free with my Barry M order online (using the code LAUREN). I wasn't particularly excited about getting the crayon, but it was free so I was going to take advantage.

I received this in Lilac. I was quite excited at the time, as I thought with the dazzle dusts being a loose powder, i'd be able to use the crayon as a base so the colours would stick to my lid okay. It's very chunky and looks pretty (from the outside).

When you apply this, it's very scratchy. There's glitter in it, but it isn't finely milled and you can feel every little piece as you draw with it. The colour isn't very pigmented, the lilac shade i had basically came out clear with chunks of glitter in. In terms of using as a base, not going to work. The dazzle dusts don't stick to it, even though it feels extremely sticky.

It doesn't last a very long time either, it melts very quickly. I think these retail at about £4, i'm not entirely sure though. They're not good, maybe i just had a bad experience but i can't see the other colours being any better.

I wouldn't recommend this at all. It's quite apalling compared to the rest of the Barry M range.
