I was really pleased when I first tried this product. I purchased it from Boots, although the brand is readily available from a lot of shops and online too.

I'd seen the more 'high end' brands come up with similar effects polishes, but didn't want to pay too much for something I would only use occasionally.

My favourite in this range is the black nail effects, and it looks great over any colour, particularly paler pastel shades. For best results apply a couple of coats of your underneath nail colour and let this dry fully. I've found that one thick coat of the effects polish, applied very quickly, is most effective. When the effects polish has dried and 'crackled' I would recommend applying a good quality top coat. This will make your manicure last at least 3-4 days.

I can't fault this product. It does exactly what it is intended to, and the price (I've seen it priced between £2.50 - £4.50 in various places) is spot on. In my opinion it is just as good as any of the more expensive versions on the market.
