I bought my Barry M Instant Nail Effects when it was first fashionable and most talked about, i chose the black colour and was pleased with the results! I chose a yellow base coat (the bright colours are best) but you have to make sure the base coat is fully dry before using the nail effects.
It is great to watch when you apply it as it actually cracks before your eyes, although i would not recommend overlapping after one stroke of the brush as it will ruin the results. It also becomes quite thick and hard to use after some time (bearing in mind i have had mine for almost a year now) and i am not sure how it will react if u put any nail varnish remover in to loosen it up a bit, as thats what i would do with my usual nail varnishes.
However I would not let this put you off because when it's applied well it has a professional look about it.
I would and have recommended/ got my friends hooked on this product in the past!
It is definitly a girls handbag essential!
