I never really considered Barry M products for anything other than nail polish before until a friend of mine wore a shade of red which was to die for and I had to take a look at the collection myself.
The packaging is simple as it is just a black lipstick case with a square shape and the shade on the bottom and brand on the top. The lipstick has the usual way of turning it to make it come up and give you more of the gorgeous colour to use!
Mine came from Superdrug and they cost £4.45 each (£4.05 if you use your 10% student discount) which is quite reasonable for a lipstick and the average pricing on the high street is between £4-£6 so its low in the bracket. You can also buy the products online but I would recommend buying in store so you can see the true colour.
I currently own shade 52 which is a cerise pink and very bright and eye catching. I try to avoid red because my hair is quite pinky so it clashes unless it is a vivid deep red. There are a million colours to choose from which is great because there is a colour for everyone.
The pigmentation is amazing! It comes out very bright, vivid and dramatic on my lips and doesn't blend in too much like some do. I quite like how my lips take eyes away from any other feature as it means I can get away with little other makeup. As it is so bright it could also be worn on a night out teamed with dramatic smokey eyes. Admittedly I don't find it moisturizing as it comes out quite waxy, it feels as though you have nothing on your lips at all.
Barry M (like with all their other products) have produced a number of show stopping shades ranging from bright-baby pink, orange, green, blue, black, deep-bright red, bright-pale purple, brown and a few more. The most common colour is pink with about 7 different shades and there always seems to be a new one when I visit the counter. Mine is called Shocking Pink (52).
I would highly recommend this product. It isn't over priced or easily breaking like some other lipsticks. It lasts a long time, evenly applies, brings colour to your lips and helps you steal the show.
For another pointer - it doesn't come out on coffee cups or glasses much and you don't need to worry about kissing as it mostly stays on!
WARNING: only use if you're confident enough to be looked at - as you will be when you wear this!
Summary: lovely lips whenever I want them!
