Advantages: Easy to apply, sticks about for longer than alot of other lippies I own and its a great price!
Disadvantages: Not very moisturising, is not a paint lip Max Factor Lipfinity that stays put all day long!
When it comes to lipstick it is the one product on my face I don't like too much. I don't like ones that dry my lips out and I hate ones that make me lips squidge all over the place which is why I am no a fan of lipglosses however when you get dolled up something on your lips has to go on doesn't it ladies to finish the whole look off!
Recently I've had a huge throw out of make up, it was long overdue with stuff that hasn't seen the light of day in years or was half used and I was really rather ruthless which then gave me the excuse to go out and get a few new bits and pieces.....on a budget!
This Barry M Lip Paint I bought in Boots for £4.49 which I thought was good for a lippie and any contact I have had with Barry M products in the past (and still do!) have been worth it and of great quality.
The packaging is simple. The lip paint comes in the usual tube style that lipsticks usually do, twisting up and down and with a lid that stays put securely and we are simply told what it is on it and on the base of it the colour is stated along with contact details for Barry M and its nice and robust enough.
Like I say this is a traditional style of lipstick and you can apply this to nude lips or within lip liner or however you usually apply it of course!
This comes in a whopping range of 17 colours with a really good choice to choose from with lots of shades of pinks a shade of bronze and a few peachy coloured tones and me I went for the Coral as I wanted one suitable for day time use really.
Applying it is simple. It glides on lips easy enough and leaves the lips looking saturated with colour. My colour is quite bright with a little gloss to it however I agree with another reviewer on here it doesn't feel very moisturising however it doesn't dry my lips out.
I also agree with another reviewer who says it isn't kiss proof and when you eat and drink you do lose a little of it however that is like the top layer of the lippie because it does stain my lips quite a bit which means that I find this lip paint sticks about longer than a lot of my lip colours and that I get about 5 hours of wear from one application before I feel the need to reapply it.
All in all I am very pleased with this purchase! My colour suits me and the ease of applying it and that fact it doesn't make me pout like some old trout is great!
Available from all good chemists.
