Barry M Nail Paint
Advantages: wide range of colours, easy application, durable when worn, dries quickly.
Disadvantages: nail staining, thickening of the varnish or seperation of the colour..
The first thing that is worth mentioning about Barry M Nail Paints is the wide array of colours and styles available, there seems to be a colour available for your every need, making a statement on a day to day basis, finding that perfect colour to match that bag or those shoes for a formal occasion, or glittery and fun sparkly polishes that definitely draw the eye.
I have to say there are in fact a few negatives about these polishes that are enough to make me not so reliant on them for my daily needs, but definitely the brand I'd turn to in a colour related pinch! One of the few weaknesses of this product are as follows, after a few weeks without usage, depending on the colour the polish will either seperate or have become so thick it's unusable. This has in fact only occured with the white colour in terms of seperation, and the darker blues in terms of terms of the thickening incidents. The brighter more outlandish of the colours have a tendency to stain your fingernails a rather unsightly colour for a few days after careful removal which can be a little unpleasant, even with the addition of a base coat. I sometimes find that several coats are needed to achieve the best effect.
For the positive aspects, I find that the polishes are easy to use, the brush is of an adequate quality, it doesn't leave behind the bristles in your nails, and doesn't collect the polish itself in an uneven way so you end up with thicker sections. The polishes dry relatively quickly compared to "high end" brands, making them slightly more practical. Depending on the number of layers you put on, (I usually end up putting on 2-3 depending on the consistency and intensity of the polish) its easily removed (apart from the staining issue), the colours are lovely and intense, and it also lasts long proving to be chip resistant for a number of days making it quite durable and well worth the investment.
Summary: wide range of colours to suit all needs..
