I am a nail painting addict! I always like to have my nails nicely painted as I think it makes me look a little bit more professional and sophisticated...well I try! Hence I feel like I'm on a never-ending quest to find a polish that lasts without chipping- something which I have found not to be an easy challenge! I have tried cheap polish, expensive brands and nail salon exclusive brands.

Barry M is definitley what I would consider to be a cheap polish- in cost only :-) A bottle costs around £3 in Boots or Superdrug which I think is fantastic value for money. The packaging is fairly basic and doesn't look particularly special but that doesn't matter as it's what goes on the nails that counts!

I have found that when using a decent top and base coat that I can get 4-5 days out of my Barry M nail polishes (after 2 coats) without chipping. I think this is pretty good going as I have used more expensive brands that have chipped before this time limit.

The colour range of Barry M polishes is extensive- they have really nice brights as well as pastels and lumo colours- and as they are affordable it means you can buy lots and lots to have a huge collection :-)

My favourite range is the glitter polishes- I have quite a few of the glitter polishes, the one I love the most is silver cascade, though I had to purchase this from Ebay as I haven't spotted it in the shops (just checked the Barry M website and it is available there). If you are a glitter polish addict it's a must buy :-) A couple of coats and your nails look like you've dipped them in a glitter pot of mainly silver and some red and blue glitter pieces. The glitter polishes last me much longer without chipping, around 5-6 days. The only downside to them is that they are a pain to remove from the nail- it takes some serious dedication to get it off! The best solution I have found is to hold the cotton pad soaked with remover on the nail for 30 seconds to let it soak in and then attempt to remove it.

Anyhow, a big (nicely painted) thumbs up from me for Barry M polishes :-)
