I love Barry M and think that they do some make-up which is not only really fun but also really good too. Their nail polishes are especially good but they also do a range of all kinds of make-up which is good.
One of their products that I bought and was left feeling disappointed with was their super shiny lip gloss just because it was so average and nowhere near as good as I was hoping it would be. It actually reminded me of those really cheap 50p glosses that you can buy in discount shops.
Barry M do make-up which is all reasonably priced and I bought the lip gloss for £2.99 but after using it I wouldn’t recommend it so I can’t say it was good value for money.
The colour of the lip gloss that I bought was a red and it looked really nice in the tube. It gave my lips a glossy look when I first applied it but it had such a horrible texture and feel to it that I couldn’t stand wearing it.
It felt really heavy on my lips and just felt cheap. The worst part though was that I found it to be horrendously sticky to the point where my lips were sticking together and when I opened them it would pull strands of the gloss between them which looked horrible.
It is a shame that this was so sticky and horrible feeling as I like a nice shiny gloss and I would have loved had this been good because the price was so cheap but unfortunately even for under £3 I wouldn’t buy this or wear it ever again.
Barry M do some of my favourite nail polishes of all time. To be frank I think they are amazing especially when they are so cheap compared to some of the other brands on the market. As well as nail polishes they also do a range of other make-up which I don't tend to find as good as the polishes. There are one or two good items in the range but for me they just lack the quality of the polishes.
The lip gloss was something that I wanted to try as I have a slight obsession with glosses and balms and had never tried this one and because I was such a big fan of the polishes I wanted to see if this was as good.
Unfortunately I didn't think it matched anywhere near the quality of the polishes.
I should really have been warned from the packaging which is a little cheap and tacky to look at but as my mum always told me I should never judge a book by its cover. The one thing that these glosses have going for them is that they come in a range of colours which are all lovely.
I only originally went for one to try it but as all Barry M products were on a 3 for 2 I ended up getting 3 of them.
They come in a squeezy tube which is easy to apply as the applicator is slightly slanted meaning that I can apply the gloss without needing a mirror.
The gloss goes on my lips nicely and they all smell lovely. The colour is really nice but it just seems to lack the shine that I am used to with more expensive glosses. The gloss also doesn't last anywhere near long enough and looks thin on my lips instead of being thick and luscious.
After an hour or so I find that I need to reapply and it also doesn't feel as nice on my lips as some other glosses as even though it is lacking the thickness of some they also seem to be a lot stickier than others too. I found that when wearing this everything would stick to them and I was forever pulling little bits of fluff etc. from my lips that had become stuck.
They are quite cheap at only £3.99 each and normally I would overlook little flaws when something is so cheap as I can't expect something this price to compete with my Juicy Tubes which cost so much more but because I expected more from Barry M I was left feeling a little disappointed.
I would use them again but only because the colours were so gorgeous. If they could adapt the ingredients and make them a little less sticky and little bit more shiny then these would shoot straight to the top of my favourites list because the colour selection is really a lot nicer than most highstreet brands.
I've never been a mega big fan of shiny lipglosses (I think my lips are big enough without the added emphasis!), but one of the few I do own is this Barry M Super shiny lipgloss. I had a phase when I was younger when I would buy all the fruit scented/flavoured lip glosses and happily lick it off my lips but at a more mature age I have begun to appreciate them for what they are!
The lip gloss comes in a clear plastic tube, and mine contains 10ml so a reasonable amount. As it is transparent, you can see the product inside and the colour of it, which I find is generally true to the colour on the lips if not slightly fainter. To apply the lipgloss it comprises of a simple slanted tip with a hole through which to gently squeeze the gloss through.
The lip gloss is available in about 12 shades, and I have it in passion pink which is a lightly pink coloured gloss, and on my lips it does look really shiny and glam and makes an excellent topper over my lipstick. The gloss is slightly sticky however which I do find particularly annoying, as when I talk I find my lips clamming together, and eating is a nightmare as I get crumbs stuck to them lol. Saying that, the lasting power isn't great so I only really notice this if I apply the gloss then get to eating about 10 minutes after which I know make a mental note not to do lol.
The smell is slightly fruity, but not too much so I am tempted to lick it off, but if my daughter gets her hands on it, she does have the tendency to apply a very generous amount to her lips and suck it off so I try to keep this out of her reach!
Overall, it is a decent lipgloss and does what it says on the tin - it's super shiny. However, the stickiness of it is irritating and it's not particularly hard wearing nor overly fruity so it can only get a maximum 3 dooyoo stars from me. It costs around £4 in superdrug, but occasionally there are some special offers on Barry M products to take advantage of so personally I'd wait until then before running out to buy this!
I bought a Barry M glossy tube super shiny lip gloss a while back along with some other Barry M products.
~ Price and availability ~
The lip gloss is available for £3.99 online at www.barrym.com and it is also available in Superdrug or anywhere else that has a Barry M make-up stand.
The shade I have is number 11 (it doesn't have a name). It is quite a bright pink colour. The lip gloss is available on the website in 9 different colours, but I believe they make 12 different shades in total.
~ Packaging ~
The lip gloss comes in a squeezy plastic tube. It has a frosted plastic lid, which it stands on.
The tube is transparent so you can see the lip gloss through it. It has a gold metallic stripe going right around the top and then the words, 'Glossy Tubes by Barry M Super Shiny Lip Gloss' all in gold lettering. The back of the tube has the website address, www.barrym.com and their postal address and it also tells you the tube contains 10ml of lip gloss.
~ Use ~
The lid twists off easily and there is a sweet bubblegum scent to the lip gloss. A gentle squeeze is all that is needed for the lip gloss to emerge. It initially appears bright pink on my lips, but once it is fully applied it really does look a natural colour and doesn't look very bright pink at all. It is very glossy.
The website describes this product as, 'Shiny non-stick lip gloss with a sweet scent, available in a range of shimmering shades. Easy application direct from the tube onto your lips, and its compact size make it perfect for your handbag for a touch up on the go.'
I am not a massive lip gloss fan because I usually find lip glosses really sticky and inconvenient. This lip gloss does feel glossy, but quite natural and not sticky, although I am constantly aware of it being on my lips.
Initially the scent is very sweet, but after a while it reminds me of cinnamon, which I don't really like, but it doesn't taste like cinnamon and I can put up with the scent, although I feel it is unnecessary in a lip gloss.
The lip gloss has a slight shimmer to it, but it is quite glossy and reflective so you have to look really closely to notice any shimmer in it. If the website hadn't pointed out that this is supposed to be shimmery it probably wouldn't be something I would mention in my review because the shimmer is barely there!
The lip gloss looks quite nice and adds a nice glossiness to my lips, but I don't think the colour is very evident at all. Initially on application you can see the colour, but I think once it is 'rubbed in' and fully applied the colour looks minimal and to be honest I don't think it looks tinted pink in the slightest on my lips. You'd think I'd applied a clear lip gloss.
I have not tried any of the other colours in the range, but this is the brightest colour on the website along with a bright purple colour so I wouldn't recommend buying this lip gloss for the colour and you might as well only buy it in one colour rather than splashing out on a few different ones, which will probably look exactly the same on.
I find this lip gloss needs to be topped up every few hours or if you are eating and drinking even more regularly than that.
~ Conclusion ~
I think this lip gloss is quite good. It gives a nice glossy look to my lips and doesn't feel sticky, but you can constantly feel it on your lips.
I think the scent is completely pointless as to me it is not unpleasant, but it is not the nicest smell either and if I could choose between this lip gloss and the exact same lip gloss with no scent then I would choose the one with no scent.
It is reasonably priced for what it is and it does offer a nice finish to your lips, but like most lip glosses it isn't the best for longevity.
I wouldn't particularly recommend this lip gloss and would not consider buying it again. I'd much rather spend a little more and buy one of their lipsticks or lip paints as they call them as I imagine the results will be much better.
I'd never been much into lipglosses but I got a small set of three free with a magazine and since they were free I tried them out. They were mini sized, about half the size of the full sized product and came in a light pink, darker pink and peachy colour.
At the time I received them I had only just stare getting into makeup and wasn't actually aware of the brand of Barry M and thought the packaging looked really naff, the lipglosses were all clear with gold writing on them which I thought looked pretty tacky. The tubes were clear squeezy ones with screw top lids and a plastic applicator to spread across the lips, application was easy.
The first thing I noticed was how thick and gloopy the lipgloss was (I tried the light pink first), the gloss was sticky and messy as it easily moved around and I kept finding I had to wipe around my lips and I hadn't even applied that much. Plus there was no colour on my lips not even a subtle hint, just shine.
I tried the two other colours just incase this was a faulty lipgloss but encountered all the problems with each of them. I am so glad that these were a freebee in a magazine and I didn't have to pay anything because it most definitely would have been a waste.
Just your (slightly below) average lipgloss, nothing special.
"Glossy Tube Super Shiny Lip Gloss. Luscious shades of slick and sophisticated shine. Deliciously flavoured and non-sticky, they are sure to enhance your pout."
This Barry M Lip Gloss is available in Boots and Superdrug stores and also online at Amazon and of course from Barry M directly, retailing at £3-£4.
This lip gloss is packaged in a 9ml tube, made of clear plastic, allowing you to see the colour and amount of product you have. The lid is made of a sturdy plastic, which when removed, reveals a slanted tip where the lip gloss is dispensed. I have found that, as I have had this lip gloss a while, that the gold writing on the packaging has rubbed off.
This lip gloss is available in 12 shades, ranging from light shimmery colours to more intense red shades.
The lip gloss is quite thin in consistency, which is easily distributed on the lips. The glossy tube is very glossy but not overly sticky, though in the wind I may beg to differ.
The lip gloss has a pleasant and sweet taste and smell, that isn't overpowering.
I am unsure on what shade I own, it is a very pale pink that is very glittery. The lip gloss I own is a very sheer glitter gloss, applying a different colour to what is seen in the tube. I do feel that it sometimes can be too "super shiny" and I need to wait a while for its initial glossy-ness to wear off slightly.
As for lasting power, I do find that after 45 minutes of wear, the lip gloss is still in the same state as it was when I first applied it. However, I do find that this will wear off straight away if I am eating or drinking and glitter will be all around my mouth, which can be a pain to remove.
The lip gloss is not overly drying whilst worn, but when this does wear off I do feel the need to apply a balm or re-apply this.
Overall, it is a good quality product at a great price, but I do find that with the colour I own, the lip gloss can look a bit much and isn't practical for everyday wear. If you were to find a colour without shimmer, I am certain you would not be disappointed.
I love this lipgloss and it's been a regular item that i've re purchased regulary for the past year or so. One tube lasts for around 4 months with daily use so it doesn't need a huge amount of replacing which is good as I am pretty addicted to it! It is available from a variety of shops such as Superdrug and Boots and it is ofcourse available online from sites such as Amazon, eBay and obviously the Barry M website. I bought mine from Amazon and paid £4 with free shipping. There are a few different shades to choose from which are all pinky red shades and there's a couple of toffee/beige like shades. The shades all have pretty names such as 'passion pink' and 'pale strawberry' etc. I have the lipgloss in 'Flamingo Pink' which is a deep, vibrant pink. I have tried the other shades in the past and this is my favourite.
The gloss comes in a 9ml transparent plastic lipgloss tube which has a slanted applicator. There is gold writing on the tube which has the Barry M logo and the product name. The packaging is very basic however I don't think that is really a problem. Using this lipgloss is easy and it looks and smells great. It has a gorgeous fruity bubblegum scent to it and although the lipgloss is very lightweight it is quite matt which I was a bit suprised about as I expected it to be sheer. With a tiny little bit it is sheer though so it is buildable and the colour does look natural. The lipgloss applicator is handy and the lipgloss glides onto my lips evenly and smoothly, leaving them looking moist and plumped up. Because this is such a high gloss lipgloss it does give a 3d effect as any light reflects from the gloss.
It doesn't feel very moisturizing and it's a little sticky and 'thick' feeling however it doesn't leave a horrible greasy layer like alot of other cheap lipglosses do which is good. This is not the type of lipgloss I would wear if I was going to snog my boyfriend though as he would be left with sticky lipgloss all over his mouth which I don't think he'd appreciate! It's not the most long lasting lipgloss as because it is so sticky I am always licking my lips lol. It definetly does require top ups after eating and drinking. Despite the forumla been a little sticky for my liking, it is a good formula which looks good and doesn't look like a cheap and tacky gloss - it's a very subtle looking lipgloss rather than the sort that makes your lips look enormous and sparkly. The sparkliness in this is very natural looking and just makes my lips look moist and healthy. Overall reccomended.
The usual price of this lipgloss is around £3.00 - £4.00, it is very easily available in most shops which stock Barry M products like Superdrug, Boots ect..it can also be easily purchased of a lot of websites online for cheap.
Personally I think the price of this lipgloss is great as the tube last me ages!
Barry M's glossy tube comes in a little 10ml plastic container which fit easily in your handbag without taking up to much space and also fit lovely in the hand which makes it easy to apply.
The container is see through plastic which you can the colour of the lipgloss you have chosen.
Over the container is the Barry M logo and some more information on the product which is wrote in gold.
It also has a twist of clear(ish) plastic top.
The lipgloss does not have a wand, to use this you have to squeeze it and the product comes out of a little hole which you glide across your lips!
Overall, a simple lipgloss tube which looks fine and couldn't complain it.
I was stuck at the airport a few weeks ago and realized I had no lipgloss with me, I went into major panic mode but all I can say is thank god for Boots! I quickly nipped in there and chose this because it was one of the cheapest options on the shelf!
The Barry M website tells me that there glossy tubes are available in 12 colours, when I was at boots there was only about 6 but I guess if you order online or go to a different Boots you have a better chance of seeing more colours, if your interested I will write down a few of their colours below!:
I think this is one of the newest to their collection of glossy tubes, its a very lovely hot pink colour which would look amazing on tanned skin, would be lovely on holiday.;
A rich deep shade of purple, its quite nice really and would look lovely on somebody very pale for a dramatic look, it would also be very flattering on a woman with a darker skin tone.
Hint Of Red;
I know this says 'Hint of Red' but its actually quite a bold rich red which would flatter most skin types and look very lovely on, especially with a lovely flick of black eyeliner on the top lashes, it would be another great lipgloss colour to take with you on holiday.
And if you are wondering, the one which I chose was....
This is the shade which I will be giving my opinion on, I decided to choose this one as it was the most natural colour on the shelf and I prefer natural colours to just wear most of the time unless some kind of fun calls me!
The first thing which stood out to me was the smell, its very nice, extremely fruity smelling..personally I got the smell of raspberries ( which I love! ).
I rarely come across a lipgloss which I think smells as nice as this one does, you can actually smell it for a good while after you apply it as it floats up to your nose, makes me want a creamy raspberry yoghurt!
As I said before, this is just a squeezy tube so no wand here ladies!
I actually like this though as I dont really feel confident applying make up in public but with this it kind of hides in your hand and all you need is a quick swipe across your lips, a lot better than getting out a wand in my personal opinion.
The lipgloss is not sticky on which is amazing, I despise sticky lipglosses, it looks awful when you talk and the gloss is clinging to each of your lips! especially when you try and take a drink or eat some food..which is where I will go to next, I CAN TAKE A DRINK FROM MY GLASS AND THE LIPSTICK WILL NOT STICK TO IT! IT WILL REMAIN ON MY LIPS, which already gives this lipgloss a 5 star rating!
It also will not come off much whilst eating or whilst giving my OH a kiss.
The lipgloss claims to be super shiny but I think when applied in a thin layer ( which is all I need ) it is not shiny at all which I like, I hate extremely shiny lipglosses, it can ruin your whole look and take over all of your face!
I find one layer gives a very natural look on my lips with just a hint of the pink sparkle coming across which lightens up my lips, it doesn't look glittery on too which is another bonus.
The gloss last for around 3/4 hours on me without needing to be reapplied, the tube has also lasted me ages, I came back from Dublin around 4 weeks ago or so and still have over half of it left after using it most days!
Its a great lipgloss which I will purchase again!
I've been a huge fan of my lips, therefore I often avoid wearing much lipstick or lip glosses, as I always think that I look stupid wearing it, but I was highly recommended by one of my friends, but was unsure, but as I've been paid yesterday, I thought I'd be brave and give it a go.
The actual tube is exactly the same as other brands, where you squeeze the tube and a small amount of gloss comes out and you apply to lips. Personally I don't actually like this method of tube, as I prefer the wand methods, as I am able to apply how I want, but it seems a rather minor factor. The lip gloss tubes contain 9ml of gloss. The lip gloss is fairly attractive looking, with a gold colouring around the tube, which I think is nice, but doesn't make it stand out compared to other lip glosses on the market.
Barry M Super Shiny Lip Gloss is available in 10 different colours:
- Pink Sparkle
- Pale Strawberry Shimmer
- Matt Pink
- Iridescent Violet Glitter
- Hint of Red
- Flamingo Pink
- Candy Pink
- Passion Pink
- Positively Plum
- Magic Green Glossy Tube (which apparently is green but makes the gloss pink when it's on your lips)
Having a large range of colours is real advantage as there is a colour to suit everyone, but also there are a range of shades within a colour, which allows you to choose the colour that suits you the best. Personally I choose Flamingo pink, which is quite a bold pink colour, but I fancied trying something abit daring.
The first thing I noticed about the Lip gloss was the smell, it actually smelt really lovely, not really smelt of anything I just thought it was nice, but I've been told others think it smells very plastic-y, so it again depends on taste, but the smell isn't to overpowering thankfully.
Now the important bit, how does it apply? Well easily. It isn't any different to other brands of lip gloss, but it was easy to apply, which it enabled me to get a smooth and even look. And although my choice of colour was a result of me being daring, and I was worried that it would come out really bright, but I was really nice looking, and the colour comes out much more glossy than bright pink, which I was happy about. And the biggest advantage, the gloss wasn't sticky or greasy, which some brands are. The lip gloss doesn't last for ages, but I wasn't too unhappy about it compared to the way it looks.
Barry M Super Shiny Lip Gloss is priced at £3.99, which really you cannot really go wrong for the price and the advantages of the Lip gloss.
When I was younger this had to my favourite lip gloss of all time. Barry M, I think is a cosmetic brand which is aimed at the younger generation as they do bright in your face colours. Come on, yellow nail varnish, really? Boots at one time of my life was a haven for all things make-up and pretty but now I'm on a tighter budget I have to cut back on things I have been used to buying, luckily I have around 3 of these left in my cosmetic stash!
Glossy Tubes by Barry M do exactly what they say, they provide a smooth gloss for your lips. I think this moisturises your lips as well as makes them lucky tasty enough to eat! This is not a sticky lip gloss but if you put too much on, it will make your lips stick together which is often the case with lip glosses.
These come in all different shades, pink, clear, violet, you name it! I think there must be one to go with every outfit! The things I love about these is that they are so handy, they don't leak or make a mess and they just make you look perfect. They provide that wonderful finishing touch after you have applied your make up!
In this particular product there is also a magic green gloss, how amazing! This will be next on my list to review to you all.
Barry M is not as cheap as some other beauty brands on the high street but it isn't too bad if your having a bit more of a splurge than finding a bargain. You can purchase on of these for around £4.00/. At one stage I recall them being free with a certain magazine. I should have seized the chance to get another!
This is a must buy if you want cute lips!
Thanks, Holly :)
I'm a huge fan of my lip glosses, but I am not always keen on colored lip glosses as they do tend to look more like lipstick and lip gloss rather than a lip gloss on it's own, in this Barry M range they have all the colors you could almost think of and I love these!
I got two of these and they were free in Sugar magazine, so Basically I only paid to pounds fifty for the lip glosses, when the original price is about five pounds. The shades of the lip glosses I have are bright pink, which I thought at first it was going to make me look like I have Barbie lips rather than glamourous, glossy lips, actually the color was really nice and didn't look to heavy either which was amazing and my opinion changed straight afterwards!
the other one I own is more of a coral color (but it does look orange, but trust me it's not) and the color was very pretty so it doesn't look like if you have put horribly wrong fake tan on your lips! The same with the coral lip gloss that didn't look heavy either! Must buy more of these in the future I think!
This lip gloss is sold in Superdrug, Boots for the same price, but make sure you look out for special offers on Barry M products cause you can sometimes get two for a fiver or three for the price of two save you save twice as much!
Overall, I love these little handbag sized glosses, perfect for any time of day or night, an excellent choice!
I love Barry M products as they have a bright and bold array of colours, which is why when I saw they had a 3 for 3 offer across their whole range I picked myself up one of these lip glosses. It would normally cost around £2.99.
They are avaliable in Boots and Superdrug, online stores aswell as their own online store.
The colour that I picked is similar to the one in the picture, though is probably a brighter pink as the one in the photo looks pale. The lip gloss' applicator is just a small hole in the top of the tube on a plastic slant that when you squeeze it the lip gloss is able to be put on lips with this applicator.
Personally I prefer lip gloss' with a brish or heart shape wand as I find this easier to get an even cover across the lips.
On first use the lipg gloss is quite sticky and gloopy, however, I figured this was because I probably used too much as you really do only need a little bit of this in order to cover your lips.
The lip gloss does still feel sticky, but in a typical lip glss way which makes it nothing out of the ordinary.
It gives a lovely colour to the lips, yet without being too in your face, it is a natural pink, just a bit brighter perhaps. It is also very shiny as it says in the name and they look shiny from as soon as you put it on til when it wears off or you take it off and does not lose its shine. The lip gloss lasts on the lips for about half an hour to an hour depending on whether you are eating / drinking.
Overall I would highly reccomend this for anyone who wants to add a little colour to their lips, but still look natural - especially if you want some extra shine!
As you may already know, I am a huge fan of BarryM make-up, so I bought some lipgloss as they are pretty cheap and I was in need of a new liploss.
~Packaging and Appearance~
BarryM Glossy Tube Lipglosses come in a tube - as the name suggests. Each tube has a capacity of 9ml and lasts up to 24 months after opening. On the tube is writing, reading 'Glossy Tubes by BarryM' and 'Super Shiny Lipgloss', both in gold font. There are eight different shades, although Sugar Magazine is giving a limited edition Glossy Tube in an exclusive shade free with the magazine. The tubes are transparent, so you can see what colour the lipgloss inside is.
To open the lipgloss, simply twist the lid off. You will see a little slanted nozzle with a hole in it. The slanted nozzle helps applying the lipgloss easy and you only need to give the tube a little squeeze to get some gloss out, unless the tube is nearly empty. Each gloss has a lovely scent -my favourite gloss, because of its scent and its colour, is the Pink Sparkle, because it has a lovely sweet scent and is my favourite shade of pink, as well as being sparkly. However, some of the lipglosses' scents are pretty sickly, so I recommend sniffing the testers first in the shop to ensure that you find the right scent for you! The gloss provides exactly the same colour as it is in the tube (only not as concentrated) and is non-sticky, plus it lasts for a good few hours or so.
BarryM glossy tubes are very good value, retailing at £3.95 each, so you could get two or three if you wanted to, plus you won't feel like you have caned your purse afterwards!
I have the Barry M glossy tube in 001. They come in all types of shades and styles for example, you can get hot pink, nude, browns and then you can get them with flecks of glitter, superglossy or even matte looking ones!
These lipglosses range from about £3-£4 so they are reasonably cheap and they last forever!
I have had mine since last year and i havent even used half of it even though it is one of my favourite lipglosses and i wear it all the time!
The glossy tube 001 is nice because it is a pale pink with tiny flecks of silver glitter in it.
The glitter is not too noticable but the gloss is a bit drying on the lips as you can actually feel the glitter. They look nice though and i think it is a very unique lipgloss as you cant normally find one like it! It looks absolutely gorgeous when put on. Perfect for the day or a night out!
I would recommend this lipgloss because it is not sticky whatsoever and that is a must have in a gloss Also it is not very thick and gloopy.
It gives me a nice nude lip that sparkles and i really like this. I have always liked Barry M products so of course i would like these tubes! they are really convienient and you can carry them in your pocket etc etc. I think for the price you can always get another one if you run out and its not really splurging. Also they have a fabulous range of glosses so i would definatly check them out because basically, there is one to suit everybody!
So, I have known that Barry M products have been out for a few years now and never really took much notice, until I wass going to a 21st birthday party and wanted a bit of glitzy gloss to wear there. As I was scouting the brands and saw all of the prices of sparkly lip glosses for around £8 to £15!! I needed a bit of a cheaper one though and so whilst scouting through the Barry M products I saw there gorgeous range of lip glosses. They were all around £3-£4, which I thought was a very good price. The thing that I found annoying was that they are all squeezed out and gloopy all around them, so you couldn't really get an idea of the colour.
Well, the product is exactly what is says, a Super Shiny lip gloss with high shine. It is one of the ones that have the kind of plastic apply-ers which is fixed to the tube and not in the lid and therefore the lid removes nice and easy and you can just place the lid down. This means that you don't have to hold both of them at the same time.
The packaging is plastic with gold Barry M writing on it and the shade, colour, etc. The plastic is flexible enough to easily squeeze out the gloss, but being sturdy enough so that it won't suddenly pop open and make a mess in your bag or make up purse! The lid is of a harder plastic, which is sturdy and solid.
The colour range:
There is a wide colour range avaliable, I own 3 of these, them being the limited edition one. This is the one that is green but once applied changes to the pigments of your skin to even out your skin tone and turns pink. I also have a clear one and a pink glittery one. The colour range has one to suit most people, whether you want a glittery one, clear one, coloured, etc.
The price range:
The price is between £3-£4, which I think is a very reasonable price for a gloss that works very well!
This product is avaliable in most good cosmetic suppliers, including Boots and Superdrug. As I say on all of my cosmetic reviews is that I always check Boots first as they normally always have offers on the products I like to buy and you can also collect your Boots Advantage Card points.
My experience with this product has been overall great!
Although on first applying it does feel a little sticky and can make your lips feel gloopy, but after a few seconds you don't feel the same stickiness. To apply it is very easy and I normally use the 'sweeping' motion over my lips and you only need a little bit to cover your lips which means it'll last longer!
I have used better brushes, but this one just has a small hole on top of the slanted plastic which is used to apply, so this isn't brilliant, as I would prefer to use the 'wand' style brushes, but some people prefer these as you can just pop down the lid.
Overall I think it is a great product-just wish they would clean up the testers in shops so you can test on your hand before purchasing to see what colour it is!
