Barry M is definately one of my favourite make-up ranges out there because not only are their products fantastic but they have some really funky colours and shades in the collection and this one is no exception only this one is a tiny bit different to your average lipstick. As soon as I saw this on sale in Boots a few weeks ago I knew I was going to buy it straight away as I had been eyeing it up for quite some time so I bought it immediately and Ive been using it ever since as this is meant to be the perfect colour on me.

For: The reason why this lip paint is so special is that the colour of it is tailored just for you and everyone will get a different look from this and dont worry it doesnt go on green! This "paint" reacts to the alkali level of your lips and then changes colour based on that level so it can change from anything from very pale pink to shocking pink to so dark its almost red. Everyones colour will be slightly different as I dont think anyone has the exact same alkali level.

Honestly there is no need to worry this will not go on green it goes on totally clear just like normal lip balm and then starts changing colour. It is very easy to apply just like an ordinary lipstick and it does feel quite thick and matte on your lips so as always I recommend exfoliating your lips first but apart from that its simple. Having said that though I dont think this exaggerates any dry bist you may have on your lips so dont worry too much you will start to see the colour change right before you apply - it looks SOO weird!

The colour I got from this was in the middle I think and was a lovely sort of rose pink shade which I would never have thought of buying/using before but when this changed to that colour I was surprised to find that it did suit me so Ive been wearing it ever since! Obviously as everyone will have a different colour and reaction to this I cant tell you what it will look like on you but I recommend getting it just to check it out as it is mad how the colour changes. My friend used mine the other day and her went a proper shocking pink so I know it definately looks different for different people. The colour is a real block and looks even without bleeding or smudging so you get pretty much perfect lips and the colour is specially for you!

This lasts on my lips for around 6-7 hours which is much more than my usual glosses/sticks last so its definately very long lasting and can last even longer with a base/primer. Its not the most nourishing or hydrating thing ever for your lips but that isnt why I bought it and not why I would recommend it but I think everyone should try this out a colour specially for you.
