Advantages: beautiful, bright colours

I stumbled upon this cute little eye shadow compact when organising a fashion show for the youth club i run. We were trying to get everything done as cheaply as possible (in the spirit of make and do) and that included hair and beauty for the models. As such I found myself wandering round boots, attempting to find an eye shadow compact that offered as many different, bright colours as possible for as little money as i could get away with.

Beauty UK is not a make I have ever come into contact with in the past - it is certainly not a well known brand. But as soon as my eyes fell upon their eye shadow pallette I knew it was just perfect for the young models needs. The compact itself boasts 10 different shades of eye colour in the brightest of blues, shocking pink, gorge greens...you get the idea.

The one I purchased was not the one in the picture but number '2' in the collection (you can't miss it for it hosts the brightest shades). The product comes in four other varieties, a sparkly one, metallic shades, and the one in the picture - colours for everyday use.
I fell in love with the selection of colours and the novelty (8 months or so later) has not worn off.

The compact retails at just £2.99, which I felt for the range of colours and attractiveness of the product was very reasonable indeed.
It comes in a black rectangle compact case with a clear lid, exposing the fabby shades for all to see. It comes with an applicator brush, but this is quite cheap and tacky, and not something which I choose to use.

On the night of the fashion show, the girls adored picking their own individual colours and spreading it over their eyelids for a dramatic effect - and best of all? When the show was over, I made sure that I sneaked this one home!

Since then I have used almost all the colours at some point for a statment look when i'm out, and they certainly attract attention - they stay put well and do not crease. The colours are so strong that they rarely need topping up and I find I can wear them all night without even thinking about them.

Would definitely reccomend this product for anyone on a low budget wanting to experiment with statment looks.
