Well I first bought Bellapiere through sheer determination of the sales assistant to reach her daily sales but I was actually ecstatic when i first bought it. The girl sat me down on her chair and explained that it was organic mineral make-up, (at first I thought it was a total rip of bareminerals but still thought what harm can a little demonstration do, i was also in desperate need of a make-up touch up).
She applied a small amount on my skin in a circular motion and applied some to my dark circles under my eyes and told me to look in the mirror. I was completely suprised by how luminous and flawless my skin appeared. And my dark circles looked like i had just woke up from a month of sleep. I looked so much prettier and younger too.
By this time i knew i was going to purchase the make-up but then she also convinced my to by the whole set including the blusher and brozer (which i absolutley adore). They all have light reflecting pigments in them which bounces the light off your skin too.
I walked off with my set of 3 beauty items and a DVD explaining how to apply the foundation perfectly and concealer brush for the price of £30 ish.
Although the girl explained 1 pot should last for upto 6 months, I found mine only last 1 month because i use quite a lot, but i don't mind because my skin was lookin fabulous.
However, all good things come to an end and 2 months into using this make-up I found that my skin was becoming increasingly dry which was unusaly for me beucase i have combination/oily skin. I stopped using the make-up for a while and switched back to maxfactor miracle touch and the dry skin was no more. Another thing i noticed was that because it is a powder it really exadurates any wrinkles you have and sits in every little line.
I would say that this make-up is great for a night out if you want an extra flawless look but I would not reccomend it for every day use because it may dry your skin out like it did mine.
hi, i got this bella pierre kit to my wife from www.marketvisit.com because i know she likes only natural organic cosmetics and it was a success!! she's now buying the rest of their bella pierre products and she is really satisfied.i saw it the first in a shopping center in London and the seller presented it so well, i knew i had to get it for my wife. her skin looks subtle and glows. it is silky and smooth. beautiful.
I bought this product after being enticed by the fact that it was mineral foundation. I had heard good things about mineral make-up and was quite keen to try it out for myself. I wasn't outright intending to buy this product but I was stopped by one of those girls who are selling products at stands in my local shopping centre. I was offered a free demonstration and thought I might as well give it a go!
I don't usually use foundation as I've never found one that a) matches my pale skin tone and b) doesn't look like it has been caked on with a trowel (note my poor application skills due to the fact that I don't use it much). If you are not familiar with mineral foundation, it is a lot like loose powder, which makes it a lot easier to apply than liquid foundation if like me, your application skills leave a lot to be desired!
As you can see from the above product image, the pot of foundation has some smallish holes in it so that you can tip just a little bit of the product out. I usually tip it into the lid and use a combination of make-up brush (to apply it across my face if I'm going for just a light coverage) and cotton bud (if I'm trying to cover up spots).
The overall coverage is pretty good but then it should be considering that this set me back £15 (I may have been offered it on a promotion basis so it may actually be more expensive than this). I wouldn't normally pay that much for a single item of make-up, but I've have had this for three months now and it is lasting a long time. It's not even remotely close to running out, even though I use it on pretty much a daily basis. Even if I don't need to use a foundation, I usually use it as a concealer to cover blemishes as it works just as well like that. I have had a lot of trouble finding the right foundation, concealer and powder for my skintone but the lightest shade of this has been a perfect match and serves all three purposes in one.
The big downside is its availability. As I mentioned earlier in the review, I bought this from a stall in my local shopping centre. The stall in question is no longer there, although the girl who sold the product to me is still there and informed me that I can still get replacements for the items I bought (when they run out) as they can order them in. Bellapierre have a website that you can order products from, so this would be the best bet if you are interested in buying it. They seem to be a European brand and the website mostly dealt in Euros when I visited it, although they did have a UK link off the main website. Their make-up does tend to be on the expensive side but I consider it worth the money as a one-off treat as it has done a great job on my skin.
