Benefit have introduced, as one of its mainstays of eye make-up, BADgal blue mascara - sold as a brightening, eye illuminating mascara. I happened upon this product by change - the result of an over-enthusiastic sales assistant trying every product on me! I love the look and packaging of Benefit cosmetics and really love buying something that is really luxurious and a bit naughty. I admit that half the attraction of Benefit is the packaging as I am a graphic designer and like having gorgeous packaging on my bedroom table. It makes the experience of the product so much nicer as well. I thought that as this was a premium mascara it would make more of a difference than usual to my eyelashes which are brown and quite short. I got this blue mascara at Debenhams one day, as I wanted to try out something other than my trusted black and I was pretty pleased with the results I got from a Benefit Bad Gal mini mascara I got with a set. So, I went around different shops looking for still stuff, but they were sold out at Boots, boots.com and the benefit website. I bought this mascara after reading an article about how blue mascara was the thing to wear to enhance blue eyes. I'd read rave reviews about the black Bad Gal mascara so thought it was time to give their new blue version a try. First impressions were good. The violet blue tube is quite long so I imagine it would contain a lot of mascara to last a long time. The wand of the mascara brush is long too with a lovely wide brush on the end with lots of bristles. I like my mascara brushes this way as they tend to leave less clumps. After reading the 2 reviews written before me about this product I can't beleive how disappointed both of them were. This is because I LOVE THIS MASCARA! I get email alerts every time a new product comes out from Benefit and (once again) as soon as I got the email I bought the mascara. I awaited its arrival from Benefit with bated breath! (I bought it online from their website) To be honest I haven't worn blue mascara since I was about 15 so I was looking forward to the flash back.
