Advantages: Perfectly separates lashes with minimal application

Disadvantages: More expensive that standard widely available brands

I recently tried this product as Glamour magazine had it on the front as part of their free gift offer, in fact this mascara was the reason for my purchase of the magazine as normally its more than i'd normally pay for a mascara at approx £13.50 full price.

Paying £2 for the magazine meant I got it free to try so definitely worth it!

I have tried numerous mascaras from various different ranges/manufacturers and always seem to have the same underlying issue -eyelashes sticking together! For most, this is incredibly frustrating whether you have a lash comb or not and I have been on the hunt for some time for a mascara which simply separates the lashes to lose the 'clumpy' effect.

When I first removed the brush from this mascara, my first thought was the size of the applicator brush. Initially I thought it looked difficult to apply without plastering it over my top lid/underneath of my eye. Considering its such a large brush, I was suprised as to how it wasn't covered thickly in mascara when removed so I didn't have to brush off any excess before applying.

Upon application, initially I was a little adverse to applying too much pressure for fear of it transferring not only to my lashes but onto the skin surrounding my eye. I was however, pleasantly suprised and found that applying a bit of pressure actually helped to separate the lashes ensure they fell between the bristles resulting in my eyelashes not clogging!

Its not the kind of mascara whereby you need to apply layer after layer in order to get an effect, a mere few strokes ensure the eyelashes look enhanced without thick black clumps everywhere.

I have to say that althought this is a little on the pricy side, its well worth the money for the sheer effect you get for it. I've not managed to find a mascara so far that separates my lashes quite as well as this one and would definitely recommend to anyone!

You'd need to go to the make up counter to find this product as its not something which is normally located amongst other leading brands such as Loreal, Maybelline etc. however its worth searching out!
