Bad Gal Lash Mascara - great product, worth considering. (Benefit Bad Gal Lash)

Advantages: XXL sized wand coats the lashes well, it's non-gloopy, doesn't clump, and separates the lashes well.

Disadvantages: The only downside I can see is the cost - it's a little pricier than I would usually pay.

I've always believed the age old saying that in most things "you get what you pay for", but I have always thought that in the case of mascaras, that isn't always the case.
I have tried high end price mascaras, and the cheapest of the cheap - and there are good and bad in both pricing scales.
One mascara that I hadn't tried, was Benefit Bad Gal Lash. At around £14 for the full sized product, it just seemed too pricey when I could get a decent mascara that does all I ask of it for around £8. But I got a free sample of Bad Lash with a magazine and I was able to give it a go.
---Initial Impression---
The packaging is about as modern as you can get. The mascara comes in a black box with the name of the product written across it in white and hot pink. The tube inside matches the box, being shiny jet black in colour with a silver lid and the same Bad Gal Lash logo on the side. It is pleasing on the eye, and the silver lid ensures it is easily seen in the bottom of my bulging make up bag!
Upon opening, you are greeted by the application wand. Not just your usual everyday mascara wand, but a HUGE whopper of a wand. My initial reaction was "Eeeek" quickly followed by "wow, it looks great - but a little awkward to use maybe?" I was really pleased when I personally found this wasn't the case. The wand is great for applying mascara. It holds enough of the product without "glooping", it coats the lashes evenly, and despite its whopper of a size, I find that I can still reach all of the smaller awkward inner lashes with ease. A couple of coats gives good coverage and is long lasting without flakiness.
---My Thoughts---
All in all, definitely a mascara I will be looking out for - maybe not as an everyday necessity purchase, but if I see it on offer somewhere I would definitely be tempted :o)

Summary: An excellent everyday mascara, worth buying if seen on offer somewhere!
