Recently a magazine gave away a smaller version of this mascara, which is the reason for the sudden influx in reviews on here for it! I however have been a fan of this mascara for a long time and own the full size version of it. I noticed some mixed reviews for this mascara so I feel I need to voice my own opinion of it!

I bought the full size 8.5g mascara in Debenhams as a treat with some vouchers from my Shop and Scan panel. This was a certain treat costing £14.50 however I have loved some of Benefit's products before and I was eager to give this one a try!
Brightly packaged in a black and pink box, the mascara itself is quite large compared to my usual Bourjois mascara's. It's packaging is simple but sleek and gives off a nice funky feel.

My eye lashes are always being commented on, as they are very long! My opticians comment on them, women at the beauty counters, friends... just about everyone exclaims I have lovely long lashes. I love having long lashes, unfortunately my lashes are quite like the hair on my head, they lack volume and tickness! I always have to choose good volume mascara's and not lengthening ones, they're long enough and using a normal mascara makes them look STUPIDLY long, sparse and quite like spiders legs! I'm always searching for a decent volume building mascara and whilst I usually stick with brands such as Bourjois, I have now come across the perfect mascara. You've guessed it, it's Benefit's Bad Gal Lash mascara!

This mascara gives my eye lashes lovely volume, they appear thicker however without clumpiness or that horrible overly fake look. I love wearing this mascara if I'm going out on an evening or just on a weekend, I don't feel that wearing very strong mascara's are suitable for work. The mascara goes on my lashes easily and doesn't take many coats at all to make them look thicker and full of volume, making my eyes look (if I may say so myself) GORGEOUS!

This mascara has lasted me months, but that's probably because I wear it around once a week, as I mentioned before, I don't wear thick mascara's for work. I do love it though, despite the £14.50 price tag, and I certainly will buy it again. I simply have not come across a mascara that gives the great volume my lashes need like this one.

At the end of the day this mascara is easy to remove with make-up remover, and I believe Benefit also do a waterproof version of this mascara now! It does not smudge when I am wearing it (thank god, who wants the panda eye look when they're out?!) however when it's time for bed this mascara comes off without elbow grease using your usual make-up remover.

Highly recommended for people who's lashes strongly lack volume, but probably not length. This mascara will give you great volume which lasts, and makes your eyes look gorgeous!
