Advantages: Long lasting and natural looking
Disadvantages: Glass bottle can break
Benefit are an American company based in San Fransisco. They specialise in beauty products such as make up, skin and body care. They can seem a little overpriced compared to other brands but the quality of the products makes up for the hefty price tag.
Benetint is the first thing of its kind i have seen, its a stain which can be used on lips and cheeks to give them a rosy glow. The bottle comes with a brush applicator which is attached to the lid, a little like nail varnish. To apply to cheeks use the brush to dab on three dots then rub in with fingertips. For lips I had been using the brush as well but on reading the website it recommends you use a 'Q-tip' (cotton bud for us english) to apply benetint to lips. I wondered why my lips were coming out so red!
The stain lasts all day and washes off with any make up remover or facial wash just like any other make up. It smells really nice too, like rosewater. The colour is good if you're going for the english rose sort of look or just want to look a little healthier although i'm not too sure how well it would work on the more bronzed of ladies. However saying that i do have a sun loving friend who uses it on the apples of her cheeks just to give her a healthy glow and it looks great. The bottle is small and convenient although beware it is made from glass and mine smashed in my bag (i was most upset about wasting my benetint to be honest!).
Benetint can be bought online or at a benefit counter, many large boots stores and department stores have one.
Price: £22.50
Summary: Multi use item but fragile packaging
