Advantages: Easy to apply, works great on lips and cheeks, looks fantastic, easy to remove, long lasting.

Disadvantages: None.

Last year I got married and I changed career. This led the path to a pretty drastic change in my life really in almost every area and so I lost weight, got a new wardrobe, now have more money and generally just look after myself more. This is because I have a job that I love and a husband that I love. My life feels ridiculously happy and so I take more effort in myself too and all this meant that I needed a new look as my old make-up look was very understated and was very boring too. Benefit cosmetics were something that I knew about before last year but rarely purchased because I felt that they were too expensive for my budget and there were similar products for similar money. Now I still agree with this, in some areas, but Benetint is a product that I was first lent by a lady at work and then fell in love with and now it is part of my regular make-up bag.

This product is a rose coloured lip and cheek stain that currently retails for around £24.50. This is for 12.5ml and so it is VERY expensive per ml but with it being a dual use product a little really goes a long way and hence why I was willing to repurchase this recently when I finally used up my first Benetint. This comes in a pretty little box that looks nice and stands out even amongst all the other pretty packaged Benefit products with its bright red and pink design. The bottle that this comes in looks like a nail polish really and it is very cute and sweet looking although this bottle is a little larger. The lid is a chunky white plastic and this is easy to open. Once you undo the lid there is a little brush just like a nail polish and upon first looking at this you may be stunned, like I was, wondering how this is going to work but fortunately I had my workmate on hand to show me what to do and before long I was a pro at applying this.

Now let me start by saying that when you open this is smells of roses. This may not be a scent that is to everyones taste but personally I feel this is feminine and I really like it. This scent doesn't spread to the skin quite so strongly and within half an hour or so I can't smell it at all but this really isn't a problem as I wouldn't expect this to be scented and stay smelling nice.

Really I feel that this tint is perfect for most made up faces. When I am wanting to look more natural I find that this is perfect for rounding off a look of delicate mascara and foundation with something a little special. I find that this is simple to apply, much more simple than I initially thought it would be, I usually dab this on to my cheeks in small circles and then blend these across my cheekbones. The brush is very easy to use and allows me to apply a small amount and then add more as and when I need to. Of course I apply this after my primer and foundation but I do not apply this on top of powder instead applying after a liquid foundation as I find that this gives the best finish. I find that I need to blend this very quickly otherwise it dries a little too much and really isn't pliable or simple to blend at all. This means I end up having to wipe it off and start all over again which of course wastes time and tint too.

The glow that this provides me with is fantastic and I would say that this is sexy yet understated too depending on how much I apply. This looks absolutely fantastic on my cheeks and is simple to use, as long as I am a little quick to do so of course. This is a sheer colour that has a pink edge to it rather than being the standard harsh red of many blusher products. The longevity of this is fantastic and when I apply it in the morning before a day at work it lasts the whole day through and right in to the evening before I finally take it off for bed. It is simple to remove using make up wipes or soap and water which is another plus point of course.

Using this on lips is simple again and I apply this on the top of a balm as I find that this helps it stay on my lips better. I apply a generous application of lip balm and then dab this on the top of the lip balm using a make-up brush that I dab in to the bottle and then dab on to my lips. I then use the brush to run the tint along my entire lips. I could use the brush that comes in the lid but I just find that a lip brush works better for this and I can then rinse it on a weekly basis, or more if required, rather than worry about germs being in the tint. I blend this in quickly, as I do with my cheeks, to ensure that this doesn't dry too much and I always leave this for a moment or two, usually while I finish my hair or get my shoes on for a day at work, before applying some gloss on the top for extra shine. The colour of this looks fantastic on my lips as it makes my lips look like they are just healthy and glossy and really kissable. This is a lovely pinky red colour, again, like on my cheeks of course, and I feel that this colour suits my complexion fantastically. This lasts for hours on my lips and while there is usually a little transference to glasses and cups or when kissing my husband it isn't bad at all. I love wearing this lip tint and feel that it works just as well on my lips as it does on my cheeks. A little really goes a long way with this and while I do not wear this every day my last bottle lasted me around 10 months with regular usage. I love this dual use product and feel that it is definitely worth of 5 out of 5 stars.

Summary: A fantastic dual use tint for cheeks and lips.
