Advantages: Not sticky, Natural tint, Lasts ages
Disadvantages: Pricey, Difficult applicator
Ok, this may be a very expensive product (around £15) but I believe it's worth splashing out on. The bottle and applicator is just like a nail varnish - you apply the red liquid with the small brush. A little tricky but you can always use a cotton bud instead. You only need literally a couple of drops, a little goes a long way! It doesn't taste too pleasant so be careful not to get it in your mouth. The effect is ever so natural. It dries into the lips rather than sitting on top of them and when it fades it fades naturally, unlike some lipsticks that leave you with a line round your lips. It just gives your lips a natural pink tinge. I find it looks best with a lip gloss over the top too. Some of you may be concerned if you have dry or chapped lips, but I've found this not to be a problem. It still applies well over blisteze. Or you can put the benetint on, wait a few seconds for it to sink in, then apply a coat of lip balm. Only buy this product if you only want a natural light shade of pink. I've tried it on my cheeks and I actually don't like it as a blusher (it's too difficult to blend in) but I definetely recommend it as a lip tint. You can normally find Benefit counters in Debenhams or House of Fraser. And a handy hint, if you enquire about a product they are more than willing to put it on for you and often you end up with practically a free makeover as they like to show you the range. I find them not as pressurising as other counters, and they are happy to provide you with samples to take away and try which is very handy when their products aren't the cheapest.

- 15/07/04 I agree with proxam's comments on this one. You really need to add the price, where you can buy it, how it compares with other products etc. If you update at any point let me know and I'll happily re-read for you. Sara x |
