Benefit are well known for their celebrity following-one product made by Benefit "Benetint" has one of the biggest followings of all. Of course if it's good enough for Liv Tyler it's good enough for me! I had to have one. I headed to the Benefit counter and handed 27.99 euro over to the assistant. Pricey!! It comes is a very small glass container that resembles a nail polish bottle. On the bottle cap (even more similar to a nail polish bottle) is a dainty long brush. Reading the instructions I discovered only two small dots of Benetint are needed for each cheek. Then with your finger-tips you spread it along your cheekbones and apples. Benetint is very watery but, incredibly light. It smells beautifully like roses-it's made of crushed rose petals. On my pale cheeks it turned out a pinky-red colour but, it depends on your skin tone. Since only such a small amount of the solution is necessary I considered it good value. I went out to dinner that day and found it wore off after about 2 and 1/2 hours and I had to reapply. Disappointing. It is easy to make the mistake of over applying and looking like "Beetroot Cheeks" so one must ensure caution when applying. On thing I would like to warn you all about is spilling. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SPILL BENETINT. IT STAINS LIKE FOOD COLOURING!!!!!!!!! Trust me I learned my lesson after spilling a teensy drop on my pale blue trousers. Benetint also works on lips giving them a red tint. My lips felt dry after I applied so, chheeks only is my moto. Benetint is easily cleansed of skin but, if you're using a towel/flannel/muslin beware of pink stains.
