Left me feeling a little BLUE! (Benefit California Kissin')

Advantages: Minty taste and smell is nice

Disadvantages: Ddin't like the pale appearance of my lips

I tried this as I got it in a Benefit Gift Set. I was excited to use it and the other benefit products as they tend to be reviewed very positively.

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed. It does have a nice minty flavour and so feels fresh on your lips and tastes nice. However, the blue particles in the lip gloss made my lips look paler than usual, which I didn't like at all. The 'gloss' aspect of it is fine and adds a nice shine but, for me, the pale, slightly blue tinge it gave my lips put me off. I didn't notice any change to the 'whiteness' of my teeth, even though the product claims to make teeth appear whiter.

I now tend to wear it at home, but would be more likely to wear a gloss or lipstick with a hint of colour out of the house.

Obviously, I didn't pay the full individual price for the item as it was part of a gift set. I believe it costs around £12. I would have been disappointed to have paid this price for it.

Summary: Not worth the money, in my opinion
