Back in 1976 twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford opened up their first Boutique in San Francisco known as " The Face Place", Their passion for make-up mixed along with the high quality of the products sold, their originality and combined sense of humour which is depicted through the sassy packaging and witty product names started to attract a lot of attention and in 1990 they re branded and became as what we know it today "Benefit". At that point they had 5 Boutiques within the San Francisco area but with the help of word of mouth, popularity and high demand it soon started to see Benefit counters opening in Department stores across the world. They had ... Read the complete review

I am an absolute make up addict, but when it comes to my eyes I am lazy; alittle eyeliner (or a lot on a night out), mascara and I am done. I have been looking for something interesting to do with my eyes for a while. I was really pleased when I came across Benefit Creaseless Crème eyeshadow. I have always loved Benefit, I love the quirky packaging and products are always easy to use and make you look gorgeous!!! The eyeshadow is not the best of Benefits labelling packages, no catchy slogans or cute graphics. The little black box it comes in is also abit deceiving as the box is double the size of the eyeshadow. Packaging could be made smaller; ... Read the complete review

Most people have heard of Benefit Cosmetics, a San Francisco based company that is known for their great products and quirky packaging. This Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow is no different! I recently picked this cream shadow up after hearing a lot about them being the perfect base for eyeshadow. I have it in the colour 'My Date's My Brother' which is a light pink with a good amount of gold shimmer through it. It does sound a bit of a tacky colour but once it is applied it looks lovely. Although the pink colour that the product is in the jar doesn't stay pink on the eyelid. Yet this doesn't necessarily mean it is a bad thing as the Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow can be ... A lot of people would have heard of Benefit make-up, this is classed as a more expensive brand than the usual makes like No.7, Maybelline, Max Factor or L'Oreal as an example. This is a brand that I really do like, but it is just a bit outside my budget for all the things I would like to buy. So I was really pleased when hubby said he would buy me a couple of bits as a treat! So the one I am reviewing today is the Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner, well you may think "what's so special about this Cream Shadow" I know I did before someone gave me one. Well it is a little pot of magic ( an expensive pot of magic at £14! I must say!) that can do wonders for ... Read the complete review

I bought this on a shopping trip with my 6 week old son. I decided to treat myself to a mini makeover at the Benefit counter then had a splurge with my Boots Advantage Card! I think the assistants were having a push on eye products at the time although this didn't bother me at all as it was just what I was looking for. I love the Benefit packaging and at that time I really felt that I needed to treat myself and the gorgeous 50's style glamour box really was just what I needed. I did feel more than a little guilty at the indulgence of spending £13 on such a tiny pot of product while looking at my brand new baby. But...then I thought about the effort I put in ...
