Advantages: works like a treat
Disadvantages: A bit pricey
This was the first benefit product i tried, i have problems getting make up to suit my combination skin i always ended up looking a bit patchworky, and I wanted something to rectify this I was looking for a face primer when my sister recommended benefit products to me so i toddled down to debenhams and spoke to one of the sales staff who recommended Dr Feelgood
I must admit i was a bit wary at first it sounded like a lot of money, for a seemingly simple product. But I thought if it was going solve my problem it was worth a go. i can truly say that it is worth every penny it is a clear balm that mattes and smoothes the skin. It comes in a tin and may seem a small amount but as with most benefit products lasts longer than you'd expect. as it comes in a tin its really handy for taking out with you, it also comes with its own sponge applicator you will probably need to replace this at some point but that's only because it really does last that long.
The first time I used it I noticed that it very lovely smell and texture to it, it is colourless and therefore not viable on your skin with or without make up, it feels really nice to smooth over skin but it is also very lightweight and you can not feel it or notice it on your skin once applied
Its' great for using after foundation to help set and smooth skin before using a powder, it also great for refreshing make-up and getting rid of that awful shine especially on a night out and for quick touch ups. You can also use it on bare skin to smooth and blot. Another benefit is that it also helps to keep your makeup in place during the day / evening. It does help with the patchwork issue as it smoothes under the foundation or over personally I prefer to use it in between foundation and powder as it combats the drying effect that powder can have. Both me and my sister are now daily users!
Summary: fantastic product for dealing with shine and combination skin
