Advantages: Skin feels silky and soft,, Lasts a long time
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
I absolutely love and I am a big fan of Benefit's products and this product is such a good example of their high quality, luxury products. Most major department stores sell Benefit products, like Sephora, Boots, Debenhams and Rackhams. It is priced at £19.00 which you might think sounds expensive for a small tin. I would describe it as a semi transparent balm, similar look to vasiline (but isn't a tub of grease) The balm is quite hard and firm and won't tip out of the tin. It feels very smooth. The tin holds 24g Net 0.85oz of balm. It comes with a sponge applicator, which you use to dabb the balm with and then apply to cleansed skin. I use it under make up as a base. It makes my skin feel really soft and any lines are smoothed out. It makes a great base for your foundation. The packaging is distinctly Benefit. An old fashioned metal tin with a Victorian looking couple on the front. It has been designed with the 1950's in mind. The balm is slightly fragranced and is quite pleasant. Dr Feel Good is a balm for your face, which contains vitamin C to help smooth your skin and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When you apply it, it feels very silky and the appearance of your skin afterwards is of a matt effect. Ideal for more oiler skins like mine but it does suit skin of all types. It doesn't colour your skin, but the balm smooths out any lines and wrinkles so makes your skin look more younger, healthier and flawless. I always get commented on my skins appearance after wearing it under my foundation. It doesn't feel at all heavy when you have applied the balm, it's just the same feeling when wearing foundation The balm seems to last and last and last. I have had my tin for about 2 months and it's hardly dented the balm, so I can see this lasting about a year, maybe more. You can apply on to bar
e cleansed skin or under your foundation. It really does help the appearance of your skin. The instructions do say to pat it over your foundation but I feel that it is better if you put it on before your foundation as it makes your foundation go on better. If you wear it without any make up, it does improve the look of your skin, improving the tone. In my experince It doesn't moisturise or dry your skin, neither does it have any long lasting effects on your skin as, as soon as you wash it off it's gone!
