For once a Benefit product that I Don't like! (Benefit Her Glossiness)

Advantages: Looks good on your lips, give a nice sheen.

Disadvantages: Very overpriced

I was fortunate enough to get this lip gloss free with a magazine, always one for loving to try out new make up anyway this was a great added bonus for me! The RRP is around £15, which to me seems extortionate for a lip gloss. Had it not been free I would not have even considered paying for it!

The shade I got was called 'My People, Your People' true to the quirky style that Benefit is accustomed to. This is a pale pink colour.

In the see through tube, I have to say this gloss looks rather sticky and cheap, not at all like a quality product.

To me it smells waxy and there is no taste to this whatsoever.

Some good points are that it glides on easily, lasts quite well and does give your lips a nice sheen. However, as sticky as this looks in the tube it feels like this on my lips too.

Fair enough, it looks good on but I would want much more from a lip gloss costing this much.

I was quite disappointed with this, as I usually love all things Benefit, and am certainly glad I didn't buy it. In my opinion the only thing that comes close to justifying the price of this is the name Benefit.
