      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      wonderful products that last well.

I am a big fan of benefit make after getting a makeover done with it 2 years ago. All the benefit range smells wonderful and has a wonderful texture to it that shows the quality of the brand. I got this set for Christmas this year and love it.

I'll review each bit of the set separately first

      CORALista,

Is a coral pink cheek powder. It's a nice colour on my skin but you only need a little pile to much and you're look like you're over heat. A little amount adds a nice sort of flush to the cheeks which looks quite natural. It also has a small brush with it, although not the greatest brush in the world it's not bad and I tend to use that brush .
The weight for anyone that's interested is 3.0 g net wt. 0.1 oz

      High beam,

Is a pink colour luminescent complexion enhancer. I like this product a lot. You use it on the areas you want to highlight so top of cheek bones, under the curve of your eyebrow and I also put a small amount just above my lip it enhance the bow shape great. It's only a small tube (like a mini lipgloss) with a brush applicator fitted to the lid. I can't say how long it will last as I haven't had the product more than a month and a half.
The weight 2.5ml / 0.08 US fl. Oz.

      Moon beam,

Is a yellow colour luminescent complexion enhancer. Now unlike High beam I don't think so much of this, it just doesn't suit my skin tone right (I between pale and medium in colour) I look far too yellow when this is applied on my cheeks, I end up looking more ill than glowing. I sure it'll suit a lot of people it just doesn't work on me. It's the same size tube as High beam and same applicator.
The weight 2.5ml / 0.08 US fl. Oz.

      A 5 shade eyeshadow palette

The 5 colours are an almost white, a peach, a slightly darker peach (somewhere between peach and brown), a light brown and a darker brown. These are great eyeshadows and I use them daily. They are great for shading so you could use as many or as little of the colours as you want to at a time. It also has a brush with it fluff shadow brush at one end and hard angle brush at the other. I tend to use the fluff brush for some reason I can't do the hard angle brush to line my eye and I'm yet to work out if it's me or the brush.
The weight 5.0 g net wt. 0.18 oz

      BADgal lash mascara

This mascara is black in colour. It's a really nice mascara one coat you like quite natural. I tend to go for a couple of coats as my lashes are quite short and not very dark compared to my hair.
      Weight 4.0 g net wt. 0.14 oz.

Life on the A list lip gloss

Now normally I'm not a fan of lipgloss as they are sticky . This lip gloss doesn't feel sticky and doesn't come off with the first drink you have it doesn't last all day but I'm yet to know of a lipgloss that does. It's a nice pale pink colour that I think would suit anybody.
Weight 5.0 ml /0.17 US fl. Oz. (full sized)

The set comes in a great looking box with a mirror fitted in the lid. The only problem is the box is to large to fit in a normal sized makeup bag. The Price of benefit make can seem a bit expensive but the products normally last well and are great quality products that I don't really think they are overpriced for what they are.

Normally is sold at around £30 I think.

Thanks for reading hope I've been of some help x

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Perfect holiday kit.

I love Benefit make up, as I find the packaging to be glamorous, girly and looks great in my make up bag. To add to this, the quality of the makeup is very high, and it seems to stay on my face for the whole night. I can always rely on Benefit to create a chic and useful make up kit. Below are the reasons why I think this make up set was the best I've brought.

        The packaging:

Benefit have done it again, they always seem to produce very cute, chic and 50s cover for their brand, and her name was glowla is no exception.

When you take the cover off the packaging, you are faced with a square box, with a pink background and a 50s style logo of a girl in the middle, and Her name was glowla written in the Benefit font in gold.

When you open the box, first thing you see is the oval shaped mirror. This kit comes with its own instructions on how to use the kit and the different looks you can achieve, which is great. I still have my instructions I keep in the box. It is very easy to follow and even has pictures to help guide you in the right direction. When you lift off the clear plastic cover sheet and the instructions you will see the kit, nicely presented in the box.

The blusher at the top, with the 5 eye shadows below, to follow the brushes and the beams at the bottom of the box. The lip-gloss and the mascara are both on the side.

        Kit includes:
        * CORALista coral-pink cheek powder 3.0 g Net wt. 0.1 oz.
        * 5 Eye Shadows (Passion Pearl, Peachy Sheen, Terracotta Satin, Steamy Copper, Deep Bronze)
        * BADgal lash mascara 4.0 g Net wt. 0.14 oz.
        * full size life on the A list lip gloss 5.0 mL / 0.17 US fl. oz.
        * fluff shadow/hard angle brush
        * high beam luminescent complexion enhancer 2.5 mL / 0.08 US fl. oz.
        * moon beam iridescent complexion enhancer 2.5 mL / 0.08 US fl. oz.
        * Blush and Eye shadow applicators

        The Make up Quality.

Eye shadow: You can achieve a range of looks with only the 5 eye shadows provided, from basic day look to an sophisticate evening look. I think the palette suits medium to dark tones, as I have olive skin and the copper and bronze makes me eyes look bigger. The eye shadows are powder (unlike any other Benefit eye shadow, as Benefit tends to create very good cream shadows). The shadows glides onto my eyelids beautifully and with ease and provides a very soft and velvety texture. Please be warned if you don't wear primer than the makeup will start to crease if you wear a for a long period of time. Therefore I would recommend for a night out you wear primer.

High/Moon Beam: The look they provide is very subtle and polished. This is not to cover and hide dark circles under eyes. They are there to enhance your cheekbones, and reflect the light to the brow line. I have to use a different concealer to cover up dark patches under my eyes, however afterwards I apply moon beam to my check bones and high beam to the brow line, to provide that reflective glow shine to my makeup.

Blusher: The blusher has very gentle and soft pigments to it. I think they have hit the spot with this blusher. It looks amazing on my skin tone, adds a touch of colour, with hint of glitter to my cheeks. The brush that comes with the blusher is the typical brushes that comes with all Benefit blushers and bronzers. It's a thin rectangular shape with very fine and soft hairs, I'm not a big fan of the brush, and therefore tend to use the bigger bronzer blush also brought at Benefit.

Mascara: I'm not a huge fan of Benefit BADgirl mascara, as I find it doesn't add anything extra to my lashes. It's more of day wear, just covers the lashes, no lengthening or volumising at all. So I prefer to use a different one, however the bottle is so small that it will finish very quickly.

Brushes: all my make up brushes are from Benefit, as they have fine horse hair, and feels very soft and smooth on my skin, this can be said for the brush provided in this kit. It's a double sided brush, with a angular side at one end, for creating fine lines and definition to the eyes. The other side of the brush is a blending brush, which works wonders in creating a going out look with the darker colours fading into the lighter shades.

Lipgloss: I love this lip gloss, it's a neutral colour to go with the palette. Once you apply with the wand it leaves a creamy effect to the lips, which makes it look full and shiny. It stays on for a good couple of hours, but you do have to re-apply on a constant basis.

        Where to Buy:

You can't purchase this item in Benefit stores or online as it's limited edition. So I would try ASOS, House of Fraiser. It retails at £29.50.

I love Benefit and their range and would recommend anyone to buy this kit if you like the natural look then this is all you need.
