There's no doubt about it, Benefit has become a staple make-up brand in my make-up bag and High Beam has been there since the beginning. High Beam is a satin pink highlighter designed to be used anywhere you want to create a sheen. Like all Benefit products, it's expensive, coming in at £15.50 for the bottle which is around the same size as a large nail polish. It can also be purchased as part of a set including Valley of the Stars and Realness of Concealness which both retail at £22.50 but have 5 smaller products in each. It's not cheap - but I would recommend it if you're a sucker for make-up as it lasts for a long time. I've only ever seen it sold at Selfridges, Boots Read the complete review

+*+ BENEFIT +*+ Benefit cosmetics are a fun and funky brand. With great names to their products and a kitsch and retro image. Hugely popular both here and in the USA, Benefit produce items that are colourful and 'must have', and their clever advertising goes a long way in promoting their brand. Packaged in bright colours and featuring 50's artwork Benefit have got this sales pitch spot on, and you can't help but be tempted to want to own the items from this kitsch range of cosmetics . - - BENEFIT HIGHBEAM - Benefit Highbeam is one of my very favourite products from their cosmetic range. It's one of those items I just can't be ... Read the complete review

Benefit High Beam - can't live without it! A fantastic highlighter, light reflector, and face sculptor. This, ladies, is a must have item in your beauty bag as far as I'm concerned. Use sparingly (you can always add more, it's harder to take away when you already did your make-up!) I use it down the centre of my nose to make it apear thinner, and I also use it in a sort-of C-shape near my eyes leading to the top of my cheek bones (that's what the counter lady told me to do - she's a genious!) You can also add a bit of it to your moisuriser or your foundation to give you that dewy look that all the models have, or add some to your brow line. I ... Read the complete review

I've always been a big fan of highlighter from when I first started wearing make up. At first I always used to just use a little on my brow bone but as the years and my knowledge progressed I began to learn all the tricks and exactly where to apply it. If applied in the right way it can make such a difference to your look. Much like the word would suggest highlighter is used to emphasise features by drawing the eye to them. The favourite place to apply this is on the cheek bones, to emphasise them and to give a glowing, healthy look to the face. A little on the brow bone can open up the eye area, a dot in the corner of the eye can lighten the eyes and draw ... Read the complete review

I love Benefit products and have a fair old collection of them - not bad for someone who only really wears make up for work. One of the things in my collection is the High Beam, which I got for my birthday last year from my very kind sister in law. I have actually had the High Beam in one of the little make up palette I had previously bought and I liked it so much that I wanted the full sized product. I get pretty dark circles around my eyes and I am always look for things that will cover them or take focus away from them and this product does because it highlights the area around my eyes and takes focus away from the dark circles, which I absolutely ...
