      Glow Girl:)

Benefit has always been one of my favourite make-up brands, the main reason being that most of the time with cosmetics I believe that you get what you pay for and Benefit really does provide high quality. I have tried High Beam from a promotional set that I got in Boots over the Christmas period. It had a selection of sample size products and this was one of them. I would definitely consider buying this one full price. What is this product? High Beam is a liquid/cream illuminator for the face. It is a highly pearlescent product that you use to highlight the high points of your face. It gives off a shimmery lightening effect which mimics the look of the sun hitting the features. It is usually applied to the tops of the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose and sometimes the cupids bow to make the top lip look a little fuller. Would I recommend? In a nutshell, yes. This product is something I like using on a special occasion but has not made it into my everyday make-up bag yet. The way that you apply is this product is easy, its in a container that looks like a nail polish, with a screw top lid and a brush attached. You just dot it onto your face an pat in with a clean fingertip. Although this is a very glamorous, yet subtle product that I really like to use, sometimes I am not in the mood for having a ultra glowy face.I would say this is a lovely, high-end product but for a beginners everyday make up look I would by no means say it is an essential. So if you are looking for something to brighten and give some serious glow, then this might be for you. But if staple cosmetics for every occasion is what you are after then this is probably something you could give a miss. Top Tip : Mix a few dabs of this highlighter in with your foundation to add a soft subtle glow in the summer without looking too sparkly.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        The perfect highlighter

Benefit comes across as a really fun brand with bright packagaing but the products are of a really high quality. They are quire pricey compared to other brands that you can pick up, but they last a long time and generally really work so sometimes I feel the extra price is worth it.

I have a slight obsession with reading beauty blogs and watching make up blogs on youtube and high beam was a product which came up time and time again so I decided it was time I gave it a go.

High beam is a liquid highlighter with a light pink satin like colour, it can be used over make up or on bare skin if you have a no make up day but just want a slight glow. Highlighters are massive now and you can pick up so many tips online for how to use them.

        ....Avaiabilty and price...
You can pick Benefit products up from so many places including from Benefit directly, Boots, Debenhams, feelunique and House of Fraser. For 13ml it will cost £19.50, this sounds really expensive but you use a tiny bit of the product each time so it lasts forever.

        ....Application....
High beam is one of the last products I apply, what I do is put a few dots on my cheek bones and gently pat it in so I do not disturb my foundation which I have already applied.. I also use a tiny bit on my brow bones, down the nose and above my top lip - basically anywhere you want to highlight. I only use a small amount or it ends up looking too much and a bit cakey. I love contouring and this is the perfect product for the highlighting part - you can find so many good videos on youtube for contouring.

        ....Overall....
I love a highlighter and they can really finish off a look, this is the best I have ever tried and I would recommend to anyone

        Disadvantages

        Highly recommended

I am a huge fan of Benefit Make Up and always rush out as soon as they have a new product on the market.
Benefit Highlighter High Beam is a brilliant product. Its great for everyday and also for an evening out. Although it comes in a small amount you only ever need a few dots here and there so it actually lasts really well.

I use it for contouring at tactical points, using it to added light and shine to create a flattering illusion effect. Best places to use it are:
Under the eyebrow to create light and impression of a higher arch
        Down bridge of nose
In bow of lip (right to tips of lip, creates amazing effect of making you lip look much fuller)
Just above where you put blusher (exaggerates shadow effect of blusher so gives cheekbones really strong contour and makes cheeks look slimmer)

Another way to use it is to add a few dots on with foundation to give an all over dewy effect.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

In Conclusion the best highlighter on the market

I am a massive fan of Benefit Make Up having to try out all the latest Benefit products on the market.
However this Benefit Highlighter High Beam is my favourite. I don't use everyday preferring to use on a evening out or a weekend, but the small bottle is quite deceiving and lasts a long time. I have had this current bottle for 9 months and tend to use it over the benefit foundation. It gives a lovely healthy dewy effect that can last until washed off. You really only need a small amount and I have had so many comments how great my skin looks when applying it. What I also really like about this product is that it blends in really well also and is not difficult to work with.

My friend who also uses this product recommends also applying it to your brow so it really makes your eye makeup stand out.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

if you want compliments on your make up this is the product to buy!

Benefit products I've always found a tad expensive for myself but again worth the price, I was a bit unsure weather I wanted to the product but managed to grab one from eBay at a lower price. The bottle is shaped like a nail varnish bottle and the applicator is like a brush also like polish. I don't like using too much of the product so I simply use the applicator to put on the back of my hand and use my Real Techniques contouring brush. I grab a bit of the product and apply it to the parts of my face to illuminate - this product is great it doesn't take a lot of product and gives you a healthy glow. I've had many compliments from friends and family saying my make up looks great. I don't use this on a daily basis and only use it for a night out. Overall the product is great and I would buy more benefit products.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        I love love it1

        -----General Information -----

I have been using benefit products for five years now. I love their packaging and the quality of the products. At the time that I first started purchasing Benefit, they were the only company with the retro branding and quirky names. This has since changed and I have seen other companies like Soap & Glory using the same theme, probably because it is eye catching and fun. I will remember that Benefit did it first though!
        ----- Benefit The Company -----

Benefit Cosmetics LLC was started up in San Francisco, and it's headquarters remain there. Benefit was born when twins Jean & Jane Ford opened a boutique, selling basic makeup that every girl needs. When deciding on a business venture, their fate was in the hands if a coin, heads would mean they open a casserole cafe, and tails meant they would open a beauty shop. They now reach millions of people through their 2000+ counters in over thirty countries. Once success was achieved, they added their famous "Brow Bars" to many stores along side the makeup counter.
        ----- The Product -----

High Beam is marketed as a "Luminescent Complexion Enhancer". It is pearlescent baby pink coloured cream, that can be used to highlight the face. It can be used within your face cream for a full face glow, or can be added to the areas that you want to glow. It comes in a round glass bottle and looks like nail varnish, as within the lid, is a brush exactly the same as one you would find in a polish pot. You get 13mls of this lovely stuff, in exchange for £20 of your money.
        ----- My Experience -----

I normally sit at the benefit counter and let the girls work their magic. I then ask them it line the products up that they used, and I pick my favourites and purchase them. This was a product that I thought I may as well buy, but when I got home I was a bit confused as to what to do with it! A bit if research told me how it should be used, and so when I next applied my makeup, I used it on my checks, as a base for my blusher and in my eyelids as a base for my eye shadow. I find that it really glows through the blusher or eyeshadow, and helps it to stay in place. You really don't need a lot at all, and mine is still more than half full after two years (I know, the shelf life expiry date must have been and gone, but it still looks okay to me :} ). Your makeup will stay on a lot longer with high beam underneath, and it is also really easy to remove. The cream is not sticky at all, and doesn't budge either. Pretty genius stuff I think!
        ----- Overall -----

A must have for anyone who wants to make the most of their make up. It gives you a subtle glow without making you look shiny. A brilliant company and a brilliant product.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          A great little highlighter

I have a number of different Benefit products, as it is one of my favorite make up brands, which I find sell products that really work. The company was first developed by twins in San Francisco in 1976 with the philosophy that make up and skincare should be fun and make you smile, and their packaging and promotional materials have a retro and pop art feel to them.

High Beam is a luminescent complexion enhancer that can be used to create a natural radiant glow. It is a satiny pink highlighter that can be used on all skin tones to highlight areas such as your cheekbones, eyes and brow.

The product is packaged in a light peach cardboard box with the Benefit logo and High Beam written on it in black retro writing. Inside the highlighter is in a small glass bottle with a white lid through which you can see the pinky/beige highlighter. On opening the bottle there is an applicator like a nail varnish brush attached to the lid, which is used to apply the product.

The application of the highlighter is really quick and easy. You just dab a few strokes of the product on the areas of your face that you want to highlight with the brush and then blend it in with your fingers. You only need a small amount and it creates an instant healthy glow and shimmer which draws attention to the different areas of your face without looking unnatural or over the top.

I really like this highlighter as it is so easy to use and works really well. It makes my skin look healthy and gives that final touch to my make up when I go out.

The highlighter costs £19.50 for 15ml, which is quite expensive. However you only need to apply a tiny amount, so the small bottle lasts for ages. If you want a healthy glow I would definitely recommend it.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Good at what it does but maybe try other alternatives as well

A few years back I went through a benefit stage as all my friends raved about it so bought various items and while some of them weren't worth the money I did quite like this highlighter till I found a cheaper alternative and when that ran out forgot about highlighter. However, I recently got a free sample of high beam with a magazine and have rediscovered this.

          ***The packaging***

The one I have got at the moment is tiny being a free sample from a magazine but I have had it in the past and as usual it comes in a cute cardboard box with retro style pictures. The bottle itself is like a nail polish with a brush to apply the hightlighter.

          ***The product***
According to benefit this "satiny pink liquid highlighter accents cheek & brow bones for a radiant glow. Use as a spot highlighter or delicately blend all over your complexion. Looks perfectly radiant on all skintones. It's the "supermodel in a bottle"!"
The highlighter itself is a light satin pink fluid with a subtle shimmer to it, it is worth noting that the Benefit one is slightly thicker than the cheaper imitation versions you can get. There are a number of ways you can use this highlighter - first it can be mixed with foundation for a dewy glow, as an all over complexion enhancer (but that would deplete your supplies pretty quickly) or as I use is as a spot highlighter. I use it on my cheeks, down the centre of my nose, a dot on my forehead and chin and dots on the corner of my eyes as well as under my brow line. This is because a while ago I was told to put highlighter on these areas for a contouring affect.

I love the colour of this highlighter as the pinky shade has a very subtle shimmer and it blends well over my pale skin (the idea is you don't want it to look noticeable so if you have darker skin I would recommend trying a free sample from the counter first in case it isn't the right tone). Once on it does give a subtle glow but it's not one of those products that will have a noticeable affect it's supposed to be quite subtle and it does look nice on and adds a subtle lift to my face. However, it doesn't last that long about 3 hours max I would say so for that reason (and to avoid adding to my already complicated makeup regime) I tend to use it for nights out or when I know people are going to be taking pictures of me (contouring is supposed to make you look better in pictures). Because of this the bottle does last a while as the way I use it you are only using a few blobs at a time so you will get a lot of use out of the bottle.

          ***Price***

For me Benefit tends to lose points for the price of its products as at £19.50 from the Benefit site and in department stores (you can get it slightly cheaper online) it costs more than my foundation. However, it does last a long time for me. But because of the price I would be more inclined to try a cheaper imitation which while not as thick does work pretty well.

I've given this product 3 stars because it works well but is let down by the price.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Subtle shimmery highlighter

Being a huge fan of Benefit products I thought I would treat myself to the High Beam Highlighter. It is described as a "complexion enchancer". It can be brought from Debenhams and costs £19.50 for 13ml. It comes in a bottle rather like a nail varnish bottle with a brush applicator in the lid. The product itself is pale pink and shimmery.

It can be used to highlight brow bones and cheeks bones. To use you simply put some on brow bone or cheeks and blend. It can be used on bare skin or on top of make up. You only need a very small amount. I like to use it over the top of Posietint on my cheeks for a subtle shimmer.

It does look nice on my skin and gives a very very sublte shimmer. It is very easy to blend and glides on to the skin. As you only need a very small amount a bottle will last a really long time. However I did not feel that the affects lasted long enough wearing off within 1-2 hours and needing to be reapplied.

I do like this product however the effects are very subtle and do not last well, and I do not notice much difference between wearing this or not. For this reason I would not buy this again as there are other benefit products that I prefer and at £19.50 it is a considered purchase.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Tons of benefits!

I'm a big fan of Benefit make up as although it's a little pricey, I've not yet been disappointed and find their make up is brilliant for special occasions. I often get dark patches and slightly dull skin so I was recommended High Beam as a highlighter.

          Uses:

I use this along the cheekbones , a dab in the corner of my eyes (corner by the nose - not IN the eye but just outside the corner), a little above the lips, and under the eyebrows. It's very versatile and helps the face glow a little. It's great to brighten up a made up face.

          Texture and shade:

High Beam is a liquid which is just the right thickness to be able to dab a little where you need it and smudge in. The shade is a lovely silvery/nude shade. Perfect for those who suit silver jewellery or colder shades.. For those who prefer gold/warmer shades, go for Benefit Moon Beam instead.
The shade is subtle enough that it's easily worn with all my other make up.

          Value for money:

High Beam is fairly pricey at £19.50 at major retailers. However, you only need to apply a tiny amount each time so it lasts absolutely ages. I've had my bottle a year and it still looks full. It hasn't dried up in the bottle so it looks like it will last me a year or so more at least. I use it about once a week as a highlighter. I'd therefore say it's an investment that pays off.

Overall, Benefit High Beam is a versatile, girly highlighter. Though it seems pricey, it lasts for ages so is excellent value.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

An essential non-essential make up product

Benefit is the brand I've been recently introduced to. I won't say that I am very dextrous with make up; most of the time I am contended with just basic foundation, blusher and a bit of eye make up. However, whilst I was browsing youtube videos and I saw a video on make up tutorial. In that video, the girl was giving instructions on how to use highlighters and I thought it would be interesting to try it out for myself.

I saw this Benefit High Beam on amazon and I bought it for around £18.00. I must admit that for a simple highlighter, it certainly is quite expensive. The bottle of High Beam looks very much like a nail polish bottle. For £18.00 a bottle, I get 13 ml of High Beam liquid. The applicator is just like a nail polish brush and very easy to apply.

From my experience, I absolutely love using this Benefit High Beam product. I only ever use this product on top of my make up and blush to finish the look. The High Beam liquid quite concentrated and you only need to used tiny drops on the area you want to highlight. My routine is to use 2-3 drops along the ridge of my nose, a few drops on my cheek bones and a drop on top of my eye brows. Then, I use my foundation brush to blend it in with my background foundation. It instantly illuminates the area and brightens up my complexion.

What I love about this Benefit High Beam liquid is that it doesn't leave too much glitter. The shine of the highlighter itself is more of a calm shine than a sharp glitter, which makes it alright for everyday wear as well as for night outs. Also, since it is quite concentrated, I only need to use tiny amounts each time for maximum effect. The good thing is it lasts for a long time. I have bought my bottle of High Beam a year ago and I have more than half left, bear that in mind that I use this product quite frequently.

However, I do notice that if I apply too much in one spot, it does have a slight tingly/ hot sensation on the area. So, I try not to put too much on the same area on my face. The smell of it is quite alright but is very mild.

Overall, this Benefit High Beam product is not an essential but it does have quite an impact for something so small. For me, this product is something I would miss after trying it out. My bottle would last for at least another year I reckon but I would buy this again.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. :) x

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            A nice little treat

I love Benefit products and have a fair old collection of them - not bad for someone who only really wears make up for work. One of the things in my collection is the High Beam, which I got for my birthday last year from my very kind sister in law. I have actually had the High Beam in one of the little make up palette I had previously bought and I liked it so much that I wanted the full sized product.

I get pretty dark circles around my eyes and I am always look for things that will cover them or take focus away from them and this product does because it highlights the area around my eyes and takes focus away from the dark circles, which I absolutely love.

High Beam is, as the name suggests, a highlighter cream that gives definition and glow to your skin. It comes in a clear 13ml glass bottle with a white lid. It looks a bit like a bottle of nail varnish both outside and inside, because the lid is the same as a nail varnish bottle in that it has a brush attached to the inside. This is really good because it makes it very easy to use. You just dab the brush onto the areas you want to apply it to and then gently rub it in.

I use it along my brow and cheek bone. It amuses my husband when I apply it because he says it looks like glitter spots on my face before I rub it in. Even so, it doesn't look glittery when you rub it in which is good because I don't like to look glittery. Instead it gives a sort of pearlescent glow to my bones. I think it is really lovely because it lightens the skin around my eyes, without drawing too much attention to it.

You can apply in to clean skin or put it over the top of makeup. I was a bit worried about putting over my make up because I thought it might rub it off and leave trails, but that isn't the case at all. It blends in really well with make up so that it looks like it is part of it. In the bottle it is a pale pink colour and that is what it comes out like, but when you blend it in, it doesn't look very pink - it just does what it is supposed to and highlights the area you apply it too. I only put a little bit on because I don't want it too stand out too much, but you can put more on to get stronger results obviously.

Like I said, you only need to use a tiny little bit of it so, even though it is a pretty small bottle, it does last ages. I got my bottle for my birthday in March last year and I have still only used about a quarter of it. That means that the price isn't perhaps so eye watering as you originally think. It is available in places like Boots and Debenhams for about £19.50 per bottle. It is a lot of money, but it does last absolutely ages, so it is pretty good value for money.

I would recommend it. It is certainly a luxury product rather than being an essential, but it is very good at what it does and I really like it. If you want some - it makes a great gift if you have a generous family member or friend!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

A highlighter wich does exactly that, just with a hefty price tag!

This is a product I ought to thank dooyoo for, as I only discovered it after reading a review about and deciding to buy some. Benefit High Beam is a highlighter. I'm not really a big user of make-up, more because I lack the knowledge of how to use it properly, however I've played around with this product for a while now and really grown to like it.

The idea of a highlighter is as the name suggests; you can strategically apply it to highlight chosen areas, drawing attention to them, and in return taking attention away from less well liked areas. This product currently costs £19.50 for a 15ml pot from Boots. Prices may vary if you shop around, but be wary that if you hop for the product on eBay and the price looks too good to be true then that will be because it's a sample sized product. High Beam comes in outer packaging o a box, and is in a small bottle, very similar to nail varnish. There s a stick attached to the lid with a brush on to allow you to ally to product precisely where you want it. Sample sized bottles have a small brush attached to the lid as they are much smaller.

High beam is a pinky pearlescent colour, and has a pleasant scent - it reminds me a little bit of expensive sun cream scents. There are a few different ways you can use High Beam, I tend to apply to over my cheeks for a general glow, or to my cheek bones to try and emphasis them a little and draw attention away from under my eyes and other unsightly areas! I also apply the liquid just above my eyelids to help emphasis my eyes without needing to apply a lot of make-up. A light amount of high beam will give a gentle glow and emphasis, whilst a slightly heavier application with give a highlight more suitable for a night out.

You can draw a cross on your cheeks and blend the liquid in, or you can apply to just above your upper lip (cupids bow), for slightly fuller looking lips. You can also add the product to a moisturise and mix it in, to give a gentle healthy looking glow, however I haven't tried this due to the price of the product and not really wanting to dilute it in case I don't like it so much. You can apply High Beam over make up or on bare skin, either way I have had great results. The product blends into my skin very well, it doesn't dry it out or have any undesired effect. The glow it gives looks very natural and I didn't quite believe that it could be created from just a slick of pearly liquid, there is a slight shimmer to the highlight which you get but I don't feel that it is too much. If it's something you don't think is for you then you could try mixing the product with a little moisturiser before applying to dilute the shimmer.

The only downside I did find with the product is if it was a particularly warm day and I was only applying a small amount of the product it could start to dry a little on my face before I've finished rubbing it in, which made it harder to spread. However, making sure you're well moisturised a just do one area at a time seems to combat this, I still have a lot left in my bottle, and as a very light make-up user I can see it lasting a good for many, many months.

As High Beam is the only highlighter product I have used, I can't comment on how it compared to other similar products, however I can't really fault it, so unless you could find a similar product for a lower price tag I don't think you could beat it. I was dubious after reading all the good reviews for it, but it really is as good as people say! I'm going to drop one star though, as I do think the price is very expensive for such a small amount of product.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

A good highlighter but make sure its right for you!

After trying all of the cheek and lip stains as quickly as Benefit could churn them out, I decided to start raiding the highlighters as well. There are two highlighters that you will most probably have heard of as they are quite famous - High Beam and Sun Beam. The first is 'satin pink' toned and the other is more 'sun kissed' and glowing. I never really used a highlighter in my day to day make up routine - or at all! The reason being, I didn't actually know how to use them or why to use them. So they were not something that my make up bag missed. I didn't pay them much notice until I received a small tester pot of Highbeam free with a magazine, quite a while ago. It would be rude not to have tried it - so I thought I would do some Googling and find out what exactly it is supposed to do!

Benefit claim that it 'creates that natural radiant glow you have always desired' - it makes your complexion fresh, young and radiant and is perfect for all skin tones and skin types. They also say that 'no self respecting make up artist would be without it' ooh that told us! But you may still be wondering what its job is, let me enlighten you on how it lightens you. A highlighter is used to accentuate your cheekbones and brow bones by having a shimmery and often pale consistency, so that when hit by light it glistens in all the right places. Think of a yellow highlighter felt tip you use to make sentences stand out from the rest - it's the same concept, just on your face. And not yellow! Benefit Highbeam is known as the 'supermodel in a bottle!' - Well we all want to be a supermodel!

Like I said earlier, I got a free sample of this product but I only used it once and couldn't get on with it, so I gave it to a friend who loved it! But recently I was getting rather intrigued at how it would give me a healthy glow and seeing so many good reviews I thought it would be a good investment to buy myself a bottle of this supermodel super stuff. It was £18.50 from Boots which seemed VERY steep for only 15ml of product - not much bigger than the tester I got for free! That was the first disadvantage as for that money I would have expected Kate Moss herself to be in it! Nevertheless, I wanted my skin to look good so I rather reluctantly and guiltily handed over the credit card and went home hoping it was worth it.

The packaging is quite girly and very pink! The whole thing is pink which I love! It comes in a rectangular baby pink box with a faded white circle in the middle adorning the brand name and product name. On the back are the ingredients and the weight. Once you open the box you find the highlighter in a little bottle similar to a nail varnish or a lip and cheek tint. The bottle is dusty pink in colour and has 'Highbeam' wrote across the front in black lettering. When you take off the white, plastic lid you see that the similarities to the nail varnish and tints does not stop there - as the brush applicator is exactly the same design. Overall I like the design as it is very simple but chic and also a lovely colour!

There are a few ways to use this product as I have now found out after a few weeks of experiemting. The first one is the 'foundation-helper-outer' as I like to call it. What you do is pump out some of your foundation that you will be wearing onto a lid or a palette and then mix in a blob or two of Highbeam and mix in well! Then simply apply your foundation as you normally would and take a look at the fantastic all over glow that you now have! The pros of this would be that its not concentrated in one place so you can be greedy, but the cons would be if you put too much in you may find you take on a rather pink hue and appear as shiny as a disco ball!

Another way to wear this is mixed in with your concealer in the same way as the foundation to give your eyes a little extra brightness. Just make sure you don't use it to cover acne as shimmery spots are never ideal!

You can also wear this over foundation - just apply it as normal and then using the brush applicator on the lid draw a line on your cheekbones, on your brow bone, the side of your nose and even your cupids bow. Then using circular motions blend in until you are happy with the result. This is the way I chose to wear it as it is the most flattering and natural looking for me personally. You have to be quick when blending in as it can becomes quite sticky and non movable if you leave it unblended for too long - however once blended it gives your face a nice glittery glow.

If you have good skin and don't wear a lot of foundation - maybe only concealer, you may want to try just wearing this on its own. Prime your skin and apply your concealer if you wish then add Highbeam to the places you want the light to hit - just be careful when wearing it on its own that you don't end up looking like you are wearing a pink foundation!

Whatever way you chose to wear it, I think this will definitely be a cliché marmite product. You will either love it or hate it and I am still quite undecided here on the fence. Although I do like the effect it gives me, I find that it is too pink for me and ends up taking over my foundation sometimes even if I don't put too much on. Also the shimmer is very high and I sometimes feel very made up when I wear it! I don't think it was worth the high price tag as for me I don't tend to wear it that much as I don't like the pasty colour against my fair skin. However I think on other skin tones this would look amazing or if you have fake tan this would go very well!

If your interested have a look online for the little tester ones you can try or go to your local Benefit counter or Boots and try before you buy!

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Gives a gorgeous glow, brightens dull skin but is fairly expensive

I have recently become a Benefit addict, so far I have not been disappointed.

This pink liquid highlighter accents cheek & brow bones for a radiant glow. Use as a spot highlighter or delicately blend all over your complexion.

              -- Packaging --
I have really noticed how far Benefit go to make there products stand out and I can honestly say that they always have grabbed my attention. This little beauty came presented wonderfully. The highlighter comes in a glass long clear tube with a plastic white cap, the product itself is pink which you can see through the bottle is shimmery. The packaging for this one is fairly simple but very effective. It comes contained in a pink square cardboard box with bold writing on the front stating the name of the product and directions and it's uses on the back. I would say that I am a girly girl so anything pink grabs my attention! The packaging is elegant and very delightful.

              -- Price --
As I am a student, I only have time for a part time job which of course means I don't have a great deal of money. I would say for me this is quite expensive being £18.50, although it is expensive I can see this product lasting me a very long time as a little goes a long way. The quality of the product is also very high and so it is worth the extra pennies.

              -- Application --
You can apply this product many ways. I use it various different ways depending on my mood, how much time I have and whether I am applying a full face of make-up or not. On a day where I am applying a full face of make-up I will apply this after applying my foundation but before applying my blusher/bronzer. I simply dot this along my cheek bones, a dot on my brow bone and a small dot above my cupids bow. I find this is really effective and really brightens your features and gives your face more definition. On a day where I am in a rush and either wearing little or no make-up I tend to mix a little bit of this with my moisturiser which is extremely effective at brightening the face and texture. I have heard many other ways of using this product, but those in particular have been the most effective for me.

              -- Effect --
I found this product to be extremely effective. It brightened up my dull and tired skin and the shimmer gave my face a dewy texture and appearance which looks very flattering. It's very easy to apply and blends in wonderfully whether I'm using my mineral powder or liquid foundation. It also outlines my cheekbones adding dimension and beautiful texture to my skin. It also made my eyebrows more defined and my eyes pop!

              -- Final thoughts --
I believe that this product is fantastic, the price may be expensive but as you only need to use a little of the product at a time and the quality of the product makes it worth while. I would definitely buy this again and would recommend this to anyone who feels their dull, tired skin needs awakening and a little pick me up!
