Advantages: makes you're skin look gorgeous, takes years off you, reflects light away from problem areas
Disadvantages: pricey for amount, addictive, can be applied to heavily, easily
You've just woken up, let down by the alarm clock once again and left in turmoil, still half asleep and clutching onto your pillow, hoping it will somehow salvage you from returning to work, the prospect of going THERE, with skin like THAT tempts you to throw a sickkie. Then you realise. All hope is not gone, you are no longer doomed- you crawl out from your snug little pit and splash some Highbeam on your cheeks, your once lifeless, matte complexion has transformed miraculously into one which ooze radiance complete with kiss- me cheeks- go get some girlie... Being a lover of most Benefit cosmetics, my favorite product of all time from their range is "Highbeam", used by stars such as Miss Spears herself. This pearly pink liquid is fairly thick, and comes in a cute glass bottle, which remarkably resembles a nail- varnish bottle with a white lid containing a small brush-applicator. It doesn't come cheap, at £15 for one 13ml bottle, and lasts me a meagre 4-6 weeks (then again i think i go over board with the make-up at the best of times). In order to acheive immediate results and a new- lease of life, it is advised the liquid is applied onto brow and cheek bones fairly sparingly, you could even dab a little on your lips to give them a slight shimmer over lip- sticks or glosses. The product can be purchased in most respactable department stores, such as Debenhams, Fenwick's, John Lewis, House of Fraiser, and large Boots stores, and for you American girls out there, the San Francisco- originating company Benefit's products can be found in all major shopping malls, in shops such as Marshall Field's and Macy's. So why not treat yourself?! The shop-workers' are very friendly and will willingly give you a make- over with all of their pricey products, and you're still not obliged to buy anything, you'll walk out clutching your new p
lay- thing with joy, and i will feel fulfilled you've valued my opinion on this perfect bottle of perk- me- up.

- 21/08/03 Apologies for the slight down rating - really, it's over a triviality: I'd like to see more in the main body of the text rather than only mentioned in the advantages/disadvantages. Please let me know if you do update, I'll be happy to rerate :) |
