Advantages: easy to apply

Disadvantages: pricey normally

Well I got this the other day free with Glamour magazine (the July 2010 issue - go get it girls, or get it for your girl and I promise she will love you!) which only costs £2. It is a full size Benefit concealer stick which is normally worth about £14.

It is basically a big, think, crayon sort of thing which makes it easy to fit in a make up bag, and really easy to apply. I have currently used mine to cover up blemishes, under eyeshadow as a primer, I used it to tone down my sun burn and cover up my dark circles - basically I went camping this weekend and couldn't take loads with me - I took this and it was a life saver!

The concealer is really soft and it is a pale skin tone sort of colour which suits me fine as it is sort of the colour you can see in the picture on here. As it is so soft it is easy to blend and rub over patchy areas of colour - aka sun burn! And the crayon means you dont have to apply it with dirty fingers or anything and it makes it especially easy to apply to dark circles and to eyelids as a primer. I found that sweeping it over my eyelids did make some quite heavy eye shadow stay on a little better than normal which I think is good.

You get 2.4g in the pencil which doesn't sound like a lot, especially at £14 but I think this will go a long way.

The only thing I think is that Idon't really know how I am going to sharpen it, and if I am going to use it as a spot cover-up, I want to be able to clean it so I don't spread anything from the spots around my face. Ideally I would do this by sharpening so I will hav to look out for a wide sharpener!

I heard from a friend that the It stick has been discontinued by Benefit but I am not sure. I have also read quite a few reviews which dont agree with me on it being good but I guess different people have different opinions and experiences with things! I think it is pretty good (especially for £2 with a mag) annd so far I think it has been easy to use and will quickly become a make up bag staple!

Summary: 5/5
