Advantages: Lovely selection of products in small sizes so easily fit in your handbag

Disadvantages: Not wholly convinced by Eyecon, but the fab other products make up for it

I admit it, I completely fall for the marketing by Benefit of their fab little kits - I know you only get tiny sizes of the products, but they are just so cute!! I treated myself to this kit before a holiday, and, putting aside the pure cuteness of the kit, it is really useful.

The "case" includes minature sizes of 4 of their great products.

Firstly, there is one of their bestsellers Benetint. I have already written a full review on Benetint, so could quite happily go on and on about the wonders of this product but will limit myself to saying that it is a great product for both lips and cheeks for giving a loving natural looking "rosy" look. Take care with the application though as it is quite a strong stain and you don''t want to end up looking like coco the clown.

Secondly, there is Eyecon - probably the one product in the kit I am not completely sold on. Benefit claim that it reduces dark circles - well, I am always a bit dubious about that sort of claim (although Benefit's ooh la lift does seem to make your eyes brighter somehow), but it does nicely hydrate your under eyes and make them feel cooler.

The final little bottle is California Kissin - now this looks an alarming blue colour, and when one of the girls on the Benefit counter tested this on me, I thought you have got to be joking. However, somehow magically, it doesn't come about blue (just gives your lips a lovely shine) and really does seem to make your teeth look whiter. Don't ask me how it works but if you want an alternative to bleaching then give it a go! It also has a lovely minty taste to it which brightens up your breath too!

Finally, in the pack is some kinda gorgeous - their magical foundation which seems to suit most skintones - gives a lovely natural matt looking coverage.

Price wise, well £22.50 from Benefit, although about half that from Amazon at the moment, so snap one up quick whilst they are at that price!

So a great little kit of products - perfect for your handbag or holiday make up case, or if you feeling extra nice, a fab present for a friend (if you could bear to give it away!).

Summary: Great product for yourself or for a gift for a friend
