Advantages: Look pretty on the skin, great fancy packaging, sprakles all night
Disadvantages: The price, You can see the powder as its in the powder puff
I am a huge fan of Benefit products....I just love them, and this is another one of my faves. It is a glistening, fine shimmer powder for the body. It comes in three colours. One is gold, one is pinky/gold and the other is silver (with a hint of lilac). Silver is the one I use. The powder is pakaged in a beautiful round box, you would imagine it was something from the forties that would bless a forties starlets dressing table. It looks very glamourous wrapped in black netting. Inside you get a powder puff topped with a ribbon. Inside the box is the magical powder. The powder is very fine particles of glitter (mine is silver). They are so fine is gives a slight shimmer. You can top up the glitter with each rub. If you put more presure on the skin more will come out. It looks so natural, and you just brush it on. It doesnt seem to get on my clothes or face, but if it does fret not, it is easily rubbed off. However I have actually brushed this on the top of my trousers, purposely it does look nice and gives them a bit of glamour. This powder can be used anywhere. I like to use it when I wear a low-cut top. I brush it on my cheast and cleveage. I brush it on my arms too. I have not yet worn it on my legs but it would look nice with a brush down the front. It is great to wear in your hair as it is so subtle. I have black hair and it really does look nice. I would like to stress that this is more like a shimmery dust then glitter, I would not wear glitter in my hair or on my body, except for my eyes. When I wear this people comment on it, because it looks so pretty. I really feel glamourous when I wear it. It is best suited when you wear black, because the silver colour I use looks great against that. However if you want to wear others colours there are gold and a pinky gold, and they tend to go with more things. Personally I have not tried the other colours, because I really love the silver. I dont even need to wear jewellery with it, it
dresses up any outfit without looking harsh. Because of the popularity of this product, (Andrea Corr being a huge fan) there are so many replicas out there that you will find in boots etc. But they just dont compare and usually smell of rose or lavender, which is rather ageing. Maybe for suited for your grandma. But if your on a budget go for it! But I have tried and they do not compare to this. This screams glamour..... It costs about £20.00 which I think is expensive for a shimmer powder, but this is well well worth it, and it lasts and lasts. I have had it for a year, and I dont wear it often, only on special occasions to give me instant glamour. Just remeber it is very natural, and you can continually brush if you want more impact, but I bought this becuase I didnt want it to be OTT. If you like it natural, and you want to be a glamourpuss, then purchase this. This is a product I would only wear a night, because it comes out in the dark. It is a wonderful product and if you only buy it just to look good on your dresser, that would be enough, this product is pure glamour..............
