Another excellent benefit product (Benefit Lemon-Aid)

Advantages: Compact mirror, easy to apply and works well

Disadvantages: Cost although I think its worth the money

Benefit has been a favourite of mine for a few years, not least because they introduced me to lemon aid. I was a little sceptical at first when I saw the colour but what's fantastic about it is you can use it with or without eye shadow and it doesn't actually look like you have yellow jaundiced eyes! I have quite small eyes and found that i would often get creases of eyeshadow in the middle of the lids half way through the day. Lemon aid stopped all that. It creates a smooth base line to work with and doesn't feel greasy.

Its great for those days I can't be bothered putting on a full face of make-up. A swipe of lemon-aid and some mascara and I'm good to go.

I ran out of this recently and my benefit counter didn't have any in so replaced it with FY Eye which is orange colour and a more sticky texture - less waxy. I much prefer lemon-aid which I think gives a great base and can be used alone. FY Eye stops eyeshadow slipping but I wouldn't ever wear it without eye-shadow over it. You also have to wait for it to dry before finishing off your eyes.

The other good thing about lemon aid is the handy container that is easy to transport and get the make up out of, even when there's hardly any left, and the mirror is a great bonus too.

At £15.50 its quite expensive but definitely worth it - I got to the bottom of this and desperately want some more - something I can rarely say about make-up!

Summary: Works well, can be used alone or before eye-shadow, looks great.
