Advantages: GREAT
Disadvantages: X
I have always been a huge BeneFit fan even before they got famous, it has been years now I have been buying from them. I love them for the quality, individuality and originality of their products. At one of their make up counters in a department store I was in I picked up one of the small catalogues from them which tell all of the available cosmetics which more companies should do. There is a huge choice from BeneFit it isn't just your usual eyeshadows and lipsticks because these ones make improvements to cover up blemishes and tired looking skin or to brighten up bags under the eyes. After always going into department stores and having a look at the products having a browse and then walking away in disappointment wanting to buy the whole counter I walked away. I then sat at home and looked through the mini book at the many products circling all of the ones I wanted, there were not many not circled products. The products are not cheap over £10 for many and even over £20 but they work and look great. At the counter at BeneFit I was talking to the woman about the product and she told me a lot she was a college student and loved her work, anyway and said lots about the company. She gave me some samples and products and also asked me if I wanted a make over which could be taken as an insult but I new she was being kind. I usually don't agree to someone else doing my makeup because I was in town and if it was bad would have to go home looking terrible. Everytime she applied a product she told me about them and showed me the results. They all looked fantastic. When getting the makeover she also put Lemon-Aid on my eyes because I didn't want too much make up and this was just for brightening my eyes up a little to make them have some colour and also to get rid of the shine on the eyelids. This makes them a bit more matte and is a base for applying eyeshadows. I decided that I didn't have the money but many other products she use
d were great and finally I had a taster of what BeneFit products were like. A week or so later I went out to another store and bought my own Lemon-Aid I decided this would be the first BeneFit product I wanted to get. It was priced at £14 when I bought it and it was really nice. It comes in a little plastic cover which you take the black case out which has the BeneFit B logo on it and then inside it has a piece of acetate over the actualy lemon aid then this has the B on it too, so it you like people knowing when you buy from a good company then this is worht it. The lemon-asid is very easy to carry about and you also get a little applicator brush with a sponge, well a sponge applicator instead of a brush which doesn't work well so it is easy to apply and gets an even look. To have a look at the results go to your counter at department stores, Boots also sell it and inside the catalogues it shows you the difference or go to www.benefitcosmetics.com, I think that's the right address. While using the Lemon-Aid you only need to go over the yellow product once and weep the brush over the eyelid and it should get rid of any shininess right away and also make you look more awake, sometimes I just wear it on it's own instead of as a base. There is only one lemon-aid and it can't be bought in other colours. I am very happy with what I bought and feel if you have the money then pay it, it's affordable and does what it says, you can always be certain BeneFit don't lie. Now I have many more products but I still want the Moonbeam, Gilded pencil, show offs, mr frosty, high beam.........
