My sister has owned BeneFit’s High Beam for a while now and although she said how good she thought it was I never thought it looked quite so good on my skin as it is slightly darker. A few months back they had 3 for the price of 2 on BeneFit products in Boots so as the Moon Beam is the equivalent product to High Beam but for olive/darker skins I it’d be worth a try. MOON BEAM If you know BeneFit you will have come to expect of a rather strange name and even stranger packaging – Moon Beam obeys that rule. The outer cardboard box offers no surprises but when you open it you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d picked up the wrong product. Nail ... Read the complete review

After being carted around for a couple of days on the tube from one tourist attraction to another during my recent trip to London, I decided I was fully entitled to a spot of retail therapy. As much as I like seeing the sights and going to shows, I truly love nothing more than being free to shop til I drop! So on my third and final day I decided to cram in as much shopping as I possibly could (my feet are still feeling the effects now!) So of course one essential port of call HAD to be Harrods. I headed straight to the cosmetics department as it was located directly in front of me as I entered the store- how convenient! I found myself instantly drawn towards the ... Read the complete review

Moonbeam. Sounds like one of those radical, hippy names from the swinging sixties! But in this case it's the illuminator/ highlighter that I had been waiting to get my hands on! Ever since I started using the Benefit lip and cheek tints, I became obsessed with the brand and how amazing their products were - yes they are high priced, but they have an outstanding high quality to make it worth the guilty splurge! Having said that I was slightly disappointed in the Benefit Highbeam as it was too pink and glittery for me - so I was very excited when I heard about Moonbeam - a more yellow toned highlighter that would suit my complexion to the ground! So what is ... Read the complete review

I absolutely LOVE BeneFit make up and this is one of my favourite products they make. It is versatile and can make me look half decent even after a sleepless night. Moon beam comes in a small bottle with a screw top lid. There is an applicator brush attached to the inside of the lid. You can use this product however you like, it is basically a complexion highlighter. The product itself is quite gloopy and it has to be blended in thoroughly. It contains pink and gold tones which really make your skin glow. I tend to use it on my cheekbones and brow bone. I apply it on top of my foundation and powder, although the instructions say to apply it under make up (I ... Read the complete review

I use this product - moonbeam - when I have a tan since it is the sister product to Highbeam. The bottle described is as an 'iridescent complexion enhancer... golden apricot perfector'. The packaging is designed so that this product looks like a nail varnish and in fact it is applied with a brush which looks like a nail varnish brush. The bottle contains instructions for use - apply under make up or wear alone for an overall glow. I have tried both of these and found both of them fine. When putting under make up I found that a lighter foundation is the best to apply since its effects are lost if something thicker is applied. If your skin is looking ... Read the complete review
