My sister has owned BeneFit’s High Beam for a while now and although she said how good she thought it was I never thought it looked quite so good on my skin as it is slightly darker. A few months back they had 3 for the price of 2 on BeneFit products in Boots so as the Moon Beam is the equivalent product to High Beam but for olive/darker skins I it’d be worth a try. MOON BEAM If you know BeneFit you will have come to expect of a rather strange name and even stranger packaging – Moon Beam obeys that rule. The outer cardboard box offers no surprises but when you open it you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d picked up the wrong product. Nail ... Read the complete review

After being carted around for a couple of days on the tube from one tourist attraction to another during my recent trip to London, I decided I was fully entitled to a spot of retail therapy. As much as I like seeing the sights and going to shows, I truly love nothing more than being free to shop til I drop! So on my third and final day I decided to cram in as much shopping as I possibly could (my feet are still feeling the effects now!) So of course one essential port of call HAD to be Harrods. I headed straight to the cosmetics department as it was located directly in front of me as I entered the store- how convenient! I found myself instantly drawn towards the ... Read the complete review

This product is the sister of the celebrity-endorsed High Beam. I use this in spring and summer as I have a dark tan, and this product is meant for darker skin. In winter I use High Beam as my complexion is much paler. It comes in a bottle that looks like a chunky nail polish bottle, and its applicator is a brush exactly like nail polish. It is quite a thick liquid, probably about the same consistency as nail polish actually. It is a pale gold colour. It says you can use it on lips or eyes for a subtle glow but the only place I use it is on my cheeks as a highlighter. I use it after bronzer but before blusher, as I found that when you use it after ... Read the complete review

I really like Benefit make up and this is one of their best products. There is something a little bit unusual , not to say quirky about the whole range and you will find they sell things that are very different from a lot of their competitors. They are an American company based in San Francisco and there is something a bit Haight Ashbury about their make up and about Moon Beam ( and its best friend High Beam ) in particular . Moon Beam is a liquid highlighter. There are two ways of using it. Either it can be rubbed into your cheekbones ( on top of your foundation etc ) for the classic high lighted sharp bone look ( just draw an x on the cheekbone and rub ... Read the complete review

I got this as a present from my friend about a year ago and after forgetting it existed for a few months but then finding it and using it again recently I thought I would review it. I've had a look on the official site and found out it sells for £15.50 for the 13ml bottle and I know you can get Benefit stuff from most Boots or Debenhams stores. I thought it was a really interesting present and quite unique which is typical of Benefit who are quite an innovative brand always coming up with original ideas. I'm not aware that I had seen any products like it anywhere else when I got it and even now I've not seen many similar things. ***Packaging... ... Read the complete review
