Advantages: Makes even the most tired person look radiant
Disadvantages: Expensive but it lasts ages.
I absolutely LOVE BeneFit make up and this is one of my favourite products they make. It is versatile and can make me look half decent even after a sleepless night. Moon beam comes in a small bottle with a screw top lid. There is an applicator brush attached to the inside of the lid. You can use this product however you like, it is basically a complexion highlighter.
The product itself is quite gloopy and it has to be blended in thoroughly. It contains pink and gold tones which really make your skin glow. I tend to use it on my cheekbones and brow bone. I apply it on top of my foundation and powder, although the instructions say to apply it under make up (I have been using this for a long time and have found that it works best for me on top of my make up). I use the brush to dot the product onto my brow bone from the outer corner of my eye round my eye onto my cheekbone. I then dab the product with my finger to completely blend it in. You can also use it on the bridge of your nose and forehead or you can gently dab it all over. However I feel that it looks best and is most effective if you use it only in certain places. I sometimes dab some on my collar bone if I am going on a night out for an extra glow.
This product never fails to give me a glow. It makes me look more awake and it brightens up my complexion. It accentuates my cheekbones and I wouldn't go out without it on now. It also takes the focus of other areas you don't like, for example, if I have bad bags under my eyes and I use this, you can barely notice the bags under my eyes because of how nice my cheekbones look.
It is quite expensive at £17.50 for 13ml but it lasts AGES. I've had my current bottle for about 4 months and it is only just looking like it is running out now. It is definately worth investing in if you need a little extra glow. You can buy Moon Beam at the Benefit counter in many department stores, e.g. Debenhams, Selfridges, or from Benefit online.
Summary: An essential product for every make up bag.
