Mr Frosty is made by Benefit cosmetics. Benefit is a brilliant range of beauty products and cosmetics aimed at the young and trendy. Their products are interesting, kitsch, and made of a good quality. Look out for the bright, eye catching products at larger Boots Debenhams and Selfridges. -


Mr Frosty is a chunky white frosted eye pencil, about three times the thickness of an normal eye pencil. It has a black lid and it is about 5 inches long. It has 'Mr Frosty' written down the side in blue sparkly writing, and Benefit written down the other side. The weight is 1.7g/0.06oz. It is a good size stick and the head of the pencil is quite thick where the product comes out. The actual My Frosty is pure white in appearance, and it is has very soft and creamy texture. It is also frosted with a very pretty sparkle quality to it. I would say it is more like a cream in stick form, being much softer in texture than say a kohl pencil.


This is a versatile little stick. It is advertised as being a cosmetic that will make you look 'wide awake and sexy'. Just draw it along the inner ridge of your lash line to achieve this wide awake appearance. The colour white does seem to open up the eyes when drawn there, and with the sparkle too, it just accentuates this. Mr Frosty is also great when used as a highlighter. It's perfect for the brow bone. Just sweep beneath the eyebrows, and blend in slightly, and it really catches the light. You can use this anywhere you fancy to accentuate and highlight. It is non irritating, and has caused no allergic reactions on the skin.


Mr Frosty lasts well I have had my stick for over a year now, and it is still ¾ the size that is was. Being a wide pencil, it will be too thick for the conventional pencil sharpener. But Benefit do one especially for their thick chunky make-up pencils, I have one, and it works very well.


Benefit is a funky, luxury range of cosmetics and beauty products. It has cult status with celebrities, as it is a 'one-of-a kind' type of brand. With it's bright packaging featuring glamour girl pictures, and it's kitsch names on the products. It's fab! and fun to use. 'Mr Frosty was originally developed for a soap opera make-up artist to emphasise the eyes'. -
