Advantages: Easy to apply, good range of shades, treats skin as well

Disadvantages: Expensive

I have very pale skin that is prone to spots and wanted a product that I could use as a concealer but that didn't make my face look as if it had orange blotches all over it. A friend of mine recommended Benefit as a brand and so I took a look.

The product is actually a foundation in stick form - a bit like a lipstick - so very easy to apply and carry around with you. However, I use it more like a concealer and only apply it where I have blemishes. What I really like about it though is that it contains witch hazel and therefore also acts to treat the blemish at the same time. It's a creamy product so easy to blend into your skin and more importantly lasts all day.

It is expensive (about £25) but Boots and Debenhams, both of which have Benefit counters often have deals. However, the product lasts a long while and is the best concealer/foundation that I've bought so the price is worth it.

As it's not a powder, there are no worries that it'll crack in your bag. Having said that, as it's not in the usual foundation compact design, there is no mirror but I can live without that.

Summary: Expensive but worth it

I love Benefit but why does it have to be so darn expensive! Great review!

£25 for a stick concealer is expensive even by my standards!
