I received Pocket Pal for Christmas as I'm a bit of a Benefit fan, and it was one of the products that I did not own.
One of the biggest reasons I love Benefit is the cute, retro products which all have an individual and special feel. The packaging is extremely cute too and the products all have unique names and style. Benefit has attitude and it stands out from many other make-up brands.

-Product-

Pocket-Pal is an extention of Benetint, one of Benefit's most successful and well-known products. Benetint is a deep rosy colour in the bottle yet comes out on skin and lips much lighter. It is a cheek and lip tint - like a lipstick and blusher in one liquid. Along with Pocket-Pal there is also a lip balm version of Benetint but clearly that is only for lips!

Pocket-Pal itself is a double ended wand with clear ends - one contains Benetint and the other a clear gloss, and they are both screwed on, not pull-tops. So evidently there are two wands; the one for the gloss turns pink after a while due to being used on freshly Benetint-ed lips. The wand is also quite sturdy and the packaging is cute and colour-coded for the wand ends.
The gloss applicator is a cushioned lip-gloss one that you would normally find, and for the Benetint applicator there is a small brush.

The Benetint is deep and rosy as said above, and the gloss goes over it quite well. The gloss becomes stained after a while from using it over Benetint but it does not really make a difference when it is applied.

-Result-

The result of the combination works quite well but the lip gloss is not very long wearing. I tend to use a different gloss or balm over the Benetint as the gloss barely lasts a few minutes. I would not buy Pocket Pal again but instead I have since bought a bottle of Benetint, which is much better value and without the pointless gloss. For Benefit, this gloss falls short of what I normally expect, but Benetint is fabulous as always.
