Advantages: Lovely kit of fab products
Disadvantages: Expensive, and Lip plump not for me
If you have read my review on Benefit's Justine Case, you will already know about my love of all things cute and little and Benefit, so it will come as no surprise that I also have a "Realness of Concealness" kit in my handbag.
This kit is basically a little box of tricks to perk up your complexion - perfect for late nights or early mornings (or even more so early mornings following late nights) and is the perfect little size to pop in your party bag.
The kit includes 5 fab products from those lovely people at Benefit.
The first product is High Beam - now this is one of my favourite Benefit products, and I have already written a full review on this product so could go on at length about how fab this product is, but will limit myself to say that it is a great highlighter for the top of your cheek bones, or mix a little into your moisturiser to lift your whole complexion. A little goes a long way though, so take care in application otherwise you can gleam a bit.
Next is Ooh la lift - I am always a bit dubious about eye products that promise miracles - Benefit says this brightens, tightens and lightens the eye area - but I have to say that this product does work. Somehow the eye area does get "depuffed" (technical term that) and the dark circles are lightened. The effect doesn't last for ages though, so be warned!
Lip plump is the final little bottle - this is a primer for your lips which fills in lines and plumps up your lips. This is quite heavy to apply and I must say I don't use it as it doesn't work with Benetint, but it may work well with a lipstick.
Finally, are the two magical concealers - lemon aid and Boi-ing. These combined are a great team - iron out black circles and other blemishes and evens out skin tone on your eye lids. I find I do need to make sure that my under eye area is well moisturised before I apply though as I find the Boi-ing quite drying but the results are great!
This kit is expensive though £22.50 from Benefit, and not really many cheaper deals around. The bottles are small so be warned, but they do last for ages as with Benefit products I always find a little goes a long way.
So, perfect sized kit for your handbag or holiday make up bag (as long as you have room after you fitted in your Justine Case of course!).
Summary: Handbag sized minatures of magical potions to perk up your face - essential!
