I first started using benefit's some kind of gorgeous around a year ago after a very enjoyable (but very expensive!) trip to the benefit counter in my local dpeartment store. As a young woman, only 21, i was looking for a product that could act as a foundation but not leave my skin feeling clogged or making it look aged beyond my years. Benefits some kind of gorgeous was offered to me in shade 'Light' as i was told that it generally adapts to skin tones, to prevent the dreaded tide marks!
At £24.50, it is more expensive than the other foundations i had been using, with products like no.7 and clinique being often under £20. The packaging is simply adorable and looks wonderful on any dressing table, the themes for benefit products are often 'retro', with the some kind of gorgous foundation faker coming in a cute record shaped round compat, with an integrated mirror and sponge. The actual product was smooth, silky and left my skin feeling glowing, looking in the mirror it was clear that it was an enhancer rather than a cover up. It doesn't have a thick coverage so i wouldn't recommend it for bad or uneven skin, although because it is so light, skin prone to breakouts would benefit from the lighter coverage.
The product can be purchased from online benefit stores as well as make up counters in departments stores and in boots and comes in three shades - Light, Original and Deep, all designed to match individuals' skin tones. There are two downsides to this product, firstly it is quite costly and doesn't last very long if used on a daily basis, the second is that i wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a polished finish, it is light and glowing, not refined and perfeclty 'set'.
